Shared cloud document folder
I was happy to see folders for cloud documents be released. However, my co-worker(s) and I were disappointed to see that when organizing or creating a folder structure, it does not reflect to other XD users. Essentially, it only occurs under your own Creative Cloud account.
REQUEST: I would like to make a folder structure with my own and/or XD documents that were shared with me to be synced up for specified users to see on their ends as well. (Similarly to Dropbox or Google Drive folders where other users can access them)
We announced CC Spaces in XD today at Adobe MAX! In a space, all members will be able to see the same folder structure for shared cloud documents. More details to come!

Allow CC for team users to select the cloud storage solution of their choice (Dropbox, Onedrive, Box, etc) to store work with CC files.
Instead of Adobe trying to reinvent the wheel with cloud storage and file management (and not doing a particularly great job) focus on integration with existing and mature cloud storage providers enabling the hooks needed to published prototypes.
I would love for CC (XD specifically) to have better tools to manage files at a TEAM level with easy access to multiple files across multiple location and people but CC file management is so far behind (and low priority) It seems silly not to just integrate existing mature solutions.
Stop trying to reinvent the wheel and just embrace the companies that already have the solutions sorted out. Close the gaps in file and asset management features - so that CC and XD has basic team asset management functionality.
Rudimentary features are missing like sharing a folder with multiple designers working on the same project. Integration provides a faster path to a workable solution and isn't a real bear to use.All CC to Integrate with existing cloud file management providers so that CC/XD has a more robust enterprise and team story and feature set.

For the love of all the rainbows and sunshine in the world - make CC for teams work for teams of people.
Adobe tools are for more than marketing websites and consumer mobile apps right? Let's prove it!Enterprise application designs are often large complicated and elaborately detailed designs. In order to keep things organized, for the plethora of stakeholders, designs are often broken down into components to be tested and validates with stakeholders, often with different designers taking on responsibilities of different pieces. This results in multiple files that need to be accessible to multiple designers, often across multiple timezones and countries...
Needing to manage each file separately by each user is a nightmare today. Each cloud-based collaborative file should have a shared view (way to add/remove collaborators, way to publish and manage links that is shared by multiple "owners") this includes being able to share and provide access and collaborate on a collection of files in a folder without needing to add multiple people to each file individually.
Basically make cloud files work just like synced files without the need to download the file locally to each person's machine including the ability to manage view/modify permissions on file and folder level, manage shared links and managed shared published prototypes. Do all of this from a shared team view rather than from each user individual POV.

So you merged this with another thread asking for the same issue to be resolved. That’s great, any chance you can actually get this into the development queue though. This feature request has been around since 2017 and you’ve just been moving it around here to make it seem like it’s a recent ask. It’s not. This is basic to any team collaboration and it’s insane we still don’t have it. You’ve completely ignored every tenant of directory structures that’s been around for I dunno 40+ Years or so.
+1 I guess, but I won’t hold my breath. Seriously considering ditching the entire Adobe suite at this point and moving on to better products with better customer service. There are finally plenty of better alternatives.

+1 much needed. Co-editing is proving almost useless (for our needs) without the feature of sharing entire cloud folders. As mentioned, navigating through a list of 50+ files is unrealistic for an efficient workflow.

Are there plans to address this problem??????? Some very old comments here!

We're a team of two designers and so far it's been a struggle sharing and organizing all our linked assets. I cannot even imagine with bigger teams. Had some high hopes on XD, but I guess we might pay for Figma instead if these issues aren't solved.
+1 upvoting for this in the meantime. -

Completely ridiculous this is not a feature. Figma does this so well. Seriously thinking about moving because of the problems this is causing

Adobe XD is a non-starter without this feature. Can't collaborate at all with team members, and god forbid we hire a new designer... my entire week will be spent sharing files 1 off with them.
Also in the interest of transparency, this feature was originally requested back in 2017 as part of another request to include folders for document cloud libraries. Adobe delivered that feature (after 2.5 years of waiting), and then told us, if we want sharing of folders, up vote here.

Imagine starting a new design job at a large firm. I feel bad for the poor soul who has to share all XD files manually with the new co-worker.
Each time the company hires someone new, the person who draws the short straw has a terrible day repeating the same tedious task repeatedly and repeatedly.
I would think that by now, creating shared folders is something every self-respecting cloud service can do to avoid horrible scenarios, as stated above.
Don't get me wrong; I'm delighted with the way XD is going. Working on the same file with multiple people is very 2021. But please, Adobe, don't forget to cover the basics.

The community has been begging Adobe for the ability to sort, search and organize files. I see a bunch of new features added recently but this very BASIC and incredibly important ask somehow, once again, hasn't been addressed. It's been literally years at this point.

Anyone from the Adobe team looking into this?

+1. How can teams really use this tool without having a shared folder structure? Need to create folders for each client, then share those folders with the team. Otherwise it's individual file and version mayhem.

Important for agencies. Dropbox does a nice job of this for reference. ;)

This is absolutely necessary for teams. We are currently hosting our Xd files on SharePoint, loosing the benefit of versioning and co-editing. We are seriously considering to move to another tool because of this.
