Full image export at original resolution (Export as source)
Hi,
Very often I use images inside a mask/frame but the devs need to be able to export/download the full image that exists inside a mask/frame, not just the image framed. Right now I'm forced to send the images to the devs and this should be all possible inside XD, that's what this application is about.
Sorry If I miss something, I couldn't find a way to do it. This is key.

Wow this is really surprising that there is no option in Export Selected for "original size" instead of 1x, 2x, 3x, etc.
I would think this would actually be the primary use case, to want to have the original size, at least for web development where the CMS is already going to create the size variations for the site as needed from the original, or where clicking an image in a gallery should load the full size version...
Please add this! This is needed to use XD for a web mockup workflow

In developer mode, image assets download at the size they are used in XD, not at the original image size. This is problematic if XD is meant to be used as the key source of truth for all assets provided to devs.
The following scenario provides some context:
A client requires hero images to be provided at 1920x600 px dimensions. This is the precise file size we need to provide as a jpg or png. Our visual design team creates the image at that size.
In Adobe XD, we create desktop artboards at 1280px width for a particular project.
We import the 1920x600 px hero image, and scale it down to fit it into the 1280px width layout. It thus becomes 1280x400px in size.
We set that image for export.
Here's what happens:
In Developer view in a published prototype, that image (a jpg that was originally 1920x600) is an asset sized to the scaled size - 1280x400, and not the original full size.
Here's the problem:If Developer mode is intented to provide full hand-off of design assets, styles, etc. to meet a client's needs, it's problematic if the images don't meet their specifications in terms of size.
The client doesn't want a 1280x400 hero image.
We want the XD prototype to be the source of truth for all details, assets, etc.
We then have to supply a separate folder containing original images, which means the developers using the XD prototype now have to bounce between two places to obtain assets.
I'm assuming that this capability is not currently available in XD, but it feels like something that should become a feature. Wondering if anyone else has workarounds for this, or if this capability has been requested before.

THIS. Please. This needs to be done. Most people wouldn't search this to vote for it, but it's absolutely essential to workflow.

EXACTLY, every time I hand off an XD doc I have to run through and manually export each individual photo with a mask, with rounded corners, and or a drop shadow because otherwise, all you get is a png with all the CSS attributes applied which is how NO ONE works. So frustrating, I do not know how this is not a bigger issue.
