Spell check all text areas across all artboards
While the current spellcheck is great when you are typing, there's currently no way of running spellcheck across all your artboards in a project.
I end up copying and pasting a lot of text into a design when I'm working but there's no guarantee that the spelling and grammar is correct. Currently, I would have to go through each text area individually.
It would be fantastic if this improvement could be considered.

Spellcheck in XD is not reliable at all and is not intuitive. It should work similar to InDesign where you can check the entire document.

What we have currently (version 49) isn't even a spell-checking system. It doesn't work on Macs (and appears to not in Windows either based on the many comments I read). Why not use the same system that's already in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign?

I don't see how the current iteration of spellcheck was even greenlit as an acceptable implementation. If you have to manually look for the errors with your eyes, then it completely defeats the purpose of a spellcheck. Using a workaround isn't helping as it completely destroys workflow. This should be WAY higher on their priority list.

The work flow is suffering, due to the fact the spell checker is performing so badly.
I am very disappointed with spell check on XD, though we use XD almost everyday.
It is taxing to move back and forth from Word to XD and check every button and design item.

Yes, spellcheck needs to be improved! I am getting the same issues trying to use it myself. Thank you!

I agree, spellcheck in XD is not reliable and hard to use. You should be able to run a check similar to InDesign.

I can't believe this is not one of the top 10 requests.

Spell check in Adobe XD needs to be more robust, and work similarly to other Adobe applications. I'd love to run a spell check, have a list of all the misspellings and be able to review one by one.

Why are there not more votes on this? How can they expect me to click on EVERY text frame individually to look for missing spelling?! I have hundreds of text frames in my document! And it relies on VISUAL perception. That is not very accessible at all.

I type something wrong in a text frame, nothing happens. I click out of the frame, and then click back into it and highlight text. Only then does the misspelled word get the red underline. Too time-consuming if this is the only way it will work.
In a future release, there should be a way to check spelling for the entire document, like in InDesign or Photoshop.
A workaround I found is to export the artboard as a PDF, then in Acrobat export as a Word file, and open in Microsoft Word to run spellcheck.
