Coediting Error 2143
Trying out the new coediting feature in November 2019 update. It's good and convenient. However, i currently encounter document crashing as it is unable to reconnect.
Having previous version is helpful as it backs up my working file and enabling me to download it. But I would still like it to be saved into the same document instead of forcing me to close. The current cloud doc is considered as a corrupted file. It is troublesome as I need to recreate a new cloud file for other partners once again. Viewer/reviewers also cannot use back the same link to view the file.
Reverting back to previous version should work with the same link instead.
We’ve been working to remove the coediting error 2143 over the past six months or so. If you’re still seeing this, please do file this in the Community Support Forums! https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-xd/bd-p/xd?page=1&sort=latest_replies&filter=all

I am currently considering co editing mode with another team member. But seeing the current unstable issues of this feature, I wonder if anyone tried this method. Cloud version to share and update ONLY and has another local copy for all-time editing. So to minimise the chances of 2 or more person working on the file constantly which might be the cause for the current instability (for time-being )?

Our team of 15+ people has the same problem.
We have a design system file that has been used in different product files. After enabled the co-editing feature when someone is working on a file, the error 2143 shows up. After the error, all the changes made in 1-8 minutes are lost without any reference in the versioning area. Since this is the main file we can't just copy it to another because of linked components. We are stuck!
I am currently interfacing with dedicated adobe support. Who took care of the collection of logs using Adobe Log Collector and Adobe Clear Tool. However, the situation remains the same! I don't recommend using the co-editing feature for client projects, because we already missed our deadline and made a bad impression.

Ive got this issue too, when 2 people are working on a file that's being coedited at the same time, the file crashes and reopenes with the other persons edit, but not mine.
Sometimes the files doesn't even open, the loading bar never goes away. That only happens with with files that have the coedit feature on.

We are trying to work in a team, but this way there will be no way. -

I agree with you guys. I am facing the same problem here; my XD file keeps crashing after I enabled co-editing feature with my colleagues!
Although I was able to open the version history and save a copy of the file. But, I do not want to generate a new link for the prototype since I already shared it with devs and stakeholders 2 months ago!
Adobe, this is very disappointing!

I am getting this error too, but im unable to move to another file as i will need to maintain that prototyping link. So it's been crashing multiple times when im on that file. I've removed the people from co-editing too.

I'm also getting the error 2143 message and I agree - being able to save a previous version over the same document would be ideal.
**update**
An update appeared today (V 24.2.22.8) and the previously corrupted files are now opening fine - no more error messages for me. -

yep, happened to me as well... and its very annoying, coz I had to create a new document, meaning my prototype link is also new, meaning, all the comments from my customer are still on an old prototype and I can not transfer it to my new document... :(
I would also love the button which allows -> "Disable coediting"... coz with coediting on, once you lose inet connection, you just have to shut down xd document completely.... :(
