Expand design spec inspector by default
I'd like to be able to choose to have the property inspector already open in development view. It would save having to describe how to click on the icon to engineers every time.

Came here to say this. I've had to explain to every dev where the spec icon is — the point of sharing specs is to have developers implement, not comment.
