Change owner of cloud document
A member of our team is leaving. The only way we can change ownership of her files is to have her download them and share them locally. This is fine and all but it breaks all the links to the document so I have to go into the various places we share the link, like JIRA, and add new links.
I would prefer that we could just change ownership of the file to another team member.
We announced CC Spaces in XD today at Adobe MAX! In a space, all members will share ownership of the document, which means people leaving an organization won’t impact your workflow. More details to come!

Hi! I'd like to voice my vote for the ability for shared XD docs to have the ability to update links, or create new ones. When is CC Spaces going to be released? This is a very important tool for collaborating and not losing comments.

Hi there, one of our colleague has just resigned and she has created design system for our product with bunch of components and styles on a cloud projects. We need to change the ownership of her file so we don't have to re-link all the existed components to our projects

My organisation got a company account which means that all the XD published links are used by my old profile and I cannot transfer those to my new profile. This means that I would have to re-share all the links with devs and clients and lose comments.
I need to be able to share and transfer ownership between my profiles, even if they use the same email address.

Yes please this function.

This impacts more than your XD users, it impacts the entire organization and makes Adobe look bad. Because now ALL of our XD links change, have to be reshared, and confusion ensues as to which link should be used by Product Owners and Developers in addition to the entire Design Team.

Yes - it would be tremendously helpful to our workflow as different designers are trying to work on different things within 1 file if multiple people had the ability to share flows (or links)

This isn't really a feature that needs to be implemented. Let's face it, this forum has been actively ignored for the last two years.
There are issues with lag and bloat.
They forced a cloud structure for libraries and they forgot simple features like merging, replacing and updating. It also broke a lot of libraries.
There still isn't a way to make a static link or to transfer ownership of files.I'm posting this as a way to tell new users to choose a better program and to remind Adobe XD that there are better alternatives out there.
If you agree with the sentiment, just post your biggest annoyance with this terrible program. Or don't and just go use something better :P

wow XD is really a terrible program. This very fundamental option should not have sat here 2 years. But considering no one at Adobe is reading these, it doesn't surprise me. If you can, stop using XD

After a very frustrating 2-day run-around with live chat over this issue, I'm absolutely baffled that this is not a feature.
My current choices are:
a) Lose 3 years of version history across hundreds of projects, or
b) Spend several days of work time manually saving and archiving various versions saved locally, recreating shared links and more
Obviously it's going to be option B because I don't really have a choice but good lord please fix this Adobe. Save your customers some time with this simple, critical feature.
