Incredible , this thread exists since February 12, 2019 and this not a feature?

The fact that a file search functionality isn't a key feature blows my mind. Instead, let your users search manually... knowing they could have hundreds or thousands of files. This is BASIC. What the hell is going on?!

It is official! I have lost a file to the sea of cloud files. How this feature isn't built in already just boggles my mind.
This is from 2019! How can you still lack this feature, Figma seems even more tempting for every time I have to search for files because maintaining a folder structure within this is just impossible.

This would be a huge quality of life improvement to Adobe XD. I often have to navigate hundreds of documents before I eventually find something I had worked on the month prior. Please, Adobe, if you're listening...add a search bar.

File > Open Recent Files/Open > [add a search field]

The irony of designing improved UX when the program you are creating it in is missing critical elements. The files I'm designing have better UX than the app I'm using? Weird.

I would like to have the ability to search through my many multiple xd docs instead of scrolling forever and reading each file name to find exactly what I'm looking for from a few months prior.

File > Open Recent Files > [add a search field to traverse cloud and local documents]

Please put a search bar in "Your files", because I have more than 1000 XD files saved in my adobe account, and it is hard to find the file. please put a search bar. please find attachment

Can't believe we still don't have this in the middle of 2022... I will be moving away from XD as soon as I can.

I hate to say it, but the lack of this basic feature is really making me question whether XD is still the right tool for me. I have a ton of documents and so much productivity is wasted just because I can't find the right file.

the more I use XD the harder it is to find my files. a search bar and a method of file organization would be super helpful.

Please add a search bar on project screen, its painfull to look for older projects!!!

Current workaround for everyone, open Creative Cloud app and search there, then filter only to see your files in the tabs at the top. It is unintuitive but still faster than searching in a long list when opening in XD app

Search for documents when you click on file open from creative cloud. Shouldn't this be obvious?

I have almost 250+ documents. It is so difficult to search any particular document. GLOBAL SEARCH Should be there to find any document. Needed this badly. @Adobe XD
