Agree with all the comments here. Sometimes you have multiple versions of the same design and looking through hundreds of files becomes quite cumbersome and time consuming. Please move this out of the backlog and into the next sprint. Thanks.

Dear ADOBE please move this issue from backlog to next sprint.
I can write 100 reasons below why you have to empower users of Adobe XD to be able to organize their cloud files in folders.
I have talked to many designers who really need this feature.

Adobe XD has skipped implement the most basics of functions even after so many years of development. Enabling users to organize their projects should ve been there in the first build.

I agree! Need the ability to create a file structures to organize project files and ensure my team is able to collaborate on the most recent project files

There doesn't seem to be a way to create subfolders or directories for cloud saved files. I work in an agency on multiple projects, and the inability to organize files into different projects or brands, or to move older versions of files into a backup archive is a problem.

(This mainly is a problem when trying to create shared component libraries, since as far as I understand, those have to be saved as cloud files to work)

WTF! Adobe? People want to organize their Cloud documents. No one wants the creative could without the ability to organize their documents into folders. So pissed off. I wish you had a competitor I could go use. Seriously, give me the ability to organize my documents into folders like yesterday.

The fact that there is no option to create folders within Cloud Documents is just silly.
Folders have existed for hundreds if not thousands of years.
They obviously need to exist within Cloud Documents..
This is currently like having all your clean laundry laying in a pile in the middle of your bedroom and never using a dresser.
Ridiculous.

Agree with everything Alen mentioned. The isolation of cloud documents is a drawback, as is having to open XD and browse to open those documents. Perhaps the biggest roadblock for our business is the complete lack of organization. We have hundreds of XD files. There is no way we're going to lump them all into one long list. We had actually called support re: CC files, and the rep pushed us heavily to cloud documents. Unfortunately it's just not ready. With CC files at least there is always a local copy on your machine.

The way cloud documents work right now is not good. Personally I wouldn't even use them if I could access my personal Creative Cloud files on the XD mobile app without sending a share link. Frustratingly this seems to have been a previous feature (after reading this forum) either removed or just plain broken on my hardware. The latter would be odd as I'm running up to date apps and iOS.

I understand the desire to make Cloud Documents work but they isolate the work done in XD from the rest of project. Maybe this isn't a big concern for different workflows but I like use software running on my machine and place my work in an organized structure.

Right now Cloud Documents are utter chaos completely detached from any method of project organization. As a tool aimed at visually oriented designers, only offering sort and search and neglecting to provide a navigable graphical hierarchy is just bad. Bridge is a great piece of software that helps put the flow in workflow - the current document browser within XD is just the opposite. These browsers in other Adobe apps don't bother as I don't use them - but to work with cloud documents there's no other choice at the moment.
