Folders for cloud documents
Our team names xd files to link to jira tickets. It'd be very helpful for the cloud to have a folder structure for separating releases into batches.
With today’s release of XD, we now support personal organization through cloud docs folders. If you’re interested in cloud docs folders for sharing, please feel free to upvote this one here: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/39172108

I am migrating from VIP to Enterprise license and I am being asked to back up all my files from cloud. ITs more than 500 odd documents. Adobe only gives option to download files one document at a time. This is insane.

I am unable to download multiple folders at one go. I could not select all my cloud (XD) Documents and download it for my local backup. Please help. If i have around 1000 documents i have to select each one individually that's hilarious.

Plus one for having shared folders for adobe cloud documents. As a design director running a team of designers, not being able to create a shared folder structure for our XD documents makes using the cloud documents completely useless. Often times designers forget to share their design files one-off to their team members... meaning none of us can access their files if they're out of the office and forgot to share. Also for every new file I create I have to one-off invite like 30 people each time... this happens several times a day... Instead of just creating a Shared folder, inviting 30 people to the one shared folder, then putting all my files in that one shared folder that everyone already has access too.

Need this badly. Without it things becomes messy very fast.

is cloud folder sharing happening soon?

Can we have this please? Seems a common frustration from all designers I speak with.

Cloud is a mess without folders... it's already 'a thing' to have the xd files separated from the whole project folder....

Please, you should really enable creating Cloud Document Folders AND add an option to share it with other team members! We are all waiting for this feature for so long.
>>>> Also, you should create folders to manage components in XD. We need more organization options than just Colors / Character Styles / Components <<<<

+1 for this. Our file names are going to be very long in the meantime.

Agree, it is an absolutely needed feature, I have a lot of documents and I need to group them by Customer/Project.

How do you even ship a cloud documents feature without folder support?! Completely unusable.

This is ridiculous. I've put all my client documents into folders on the CC website but when I go to open them in Adobe XD they are just completely disorganised and hard to find.
I'm becoming more and more disappointed at the lack of development in Adobe XD month on month. Massive promised features don't appear. Small no-brainers like this still not here after 3 or 4 years. Adobe really need to invest in Adobe XD.

Add an ability to group projects by folders. See example: https://take.ms/hc2wn

To clarify, at least for myself. I'm already seeing the ability to create folders in both Synced and Cloud Documents.
The problem is, you can't share the folders. You also can't create folders in your Shared With Me section. This means that collaborating teams can't maintain an organizational structure.
I've even tried to put organizational prefixes on files but they can't be searched or sorted in Share With Me.As this thread appears to have branched out to include the fact that Team Organization of XD documents needs revision in multiple areas, I'll enumerate the issues I've seen so far:
1. Can't share Cloud Document Folders
2. Can't create folders in Shared With Me
3. Can't sort files by name in Cloud Documents once they've been put into folders.
4. Can't search for files in Shared With Me
5. Moving documents from Cloud Documents into folders is broken on numerous levels (Moving multiple selected files often fails or results in the file in 2 places. Can only move to parent or child folder. Etc.)
6. Even for the limited areas in which you can search, the documents in the results list can only be opened. You can perform no other action on them. This significantly reduces the value and effectiveness of a Search feature.
7. Can't download multiple XD Documents in Cloud Documents.
8. Can't delete multiple documents in Cloud Documents. When you consider how long XD has been around (and how long this request has been in Backlog, the restrictions and gaps in functionality hardly suggest that the dependency of XD on Cloud Documents is even within the realm of MVP.
Can we take a season off from updates with new, fancy features and do some work on making the tool more friendly to collaboration teams? The new Co-edit beta is impressive and flashy, but when in comes down to day to day work, it doesn't hold a candle to simply being able to organize your team documents.

I agree here, i am starting to work with another UX designer, and starting to work more and more in the cloud. Going through the links is becoming a pain. I presume you would have to make subscriptions for cloud storage so that more organisation can be made.....oh wait, there is already something like that. But jokes aside, this feature would be great to have,

just looked at the latest features. how are voice control and content-aware layout more important than being able to find your cloud documents in a proper folder structure? IMHO, maybe someone at Adobe should consider changing the stack rank of their backlog. IJS...

can you mimic the folder structure set up for all cloud docs, not just XD? I organized my files into folders on the creative cloud website, only to find that structure does not sync to XD, nor can I open my XD files from the creative cloud website.
