Resize layer in mask
Masks are completely broken and pretty useless in XD currently. You can't reorder layers, use clipping masks, or even resize a layer inside a mask. Once you create a mask group, it's basically a locked in and un-editable layer causing lots of frustration and confusion.
As we haven’t heard back from you in 3 months, I’m closing this as inactive. Please feel free to file it again if you’re still having problems.

Not sure I understand what you mean. All mask groups are non-destructive and can be double-clicked into to edit like any other group. You can adjust the mask shape, etc.
