Auto-select option with Dimensions of selection
It would be nice to have the same auto-select option as Photoshop in addition to displaying the width and height of the selection: it is very common to measure spaces between elements with this method.

@Randy. How about text elements. I am facing a problem between the designer and coder during hand off...more specific details here. Do you have any suggestions?

Thank you. It's true, but I often measure distances between the edges of text and images or shapes, and in this case, the edge of a text is not the one I get with this solution but the one integrating the line height. I could convert my text into a path to measure the distance but it would be a little complicated :)

Thanks for sending in feature requests.
In case you didn't know, you can get measurements between elements using the Alt key:
1. Select an element and press Alt key to get distances to edges of artboard.
2. Select an element, move mouse over another element, press Alt key to get distances between elements.
3. Select an artboard, move mouse over an element, press Alt key to get distances to edges of artboard.See gif: https://imgur.com/a/xt5PjcY
