Drag and Drop Interaction
I'd love to be able to prototype drag and drop interactions (hover effect, ability to move an item on screen, and ideally trigger when something is dropped onto an object).

It is missing the ability to use elements with a hover status while dragging and dropping objects over them. (Element changes its hover status when the object hovers over it)

So adobe xd can't make a drag and drop prototype like, I want to drag one card to another blank card container and drop it like one position drag and one position drop like drag and drop website builder UI.

Please add an ability to illustrate Drag and Drop in prototypes. This would be extremely helpful for many mock ups.

This would very useful to prototype an interface with drag and drop functionality. I am working on something similar on a day to day basis and it is difficult to mock this up in action. In the end, I have to manually explain using static mockups. :(

This would be tremendously helpful for my work on educational UI's! Hope to see this very soon! Thanks for the great work you all are doing!

Right now XD only allows dragging via a straight line from one position to another. It would be great to have an option to pick up one element and fluidly drag it all over the screen until you drop it where you want it. Technically, it will snap to its position on the next artboard, so by dropping it close to that position it will look like a smooth drag and drop action.
Addition to this would be the ability to have a hover state, so by dragging an element over another element, you will activate its hover state.

Yes, I really am needing a drop down navigation on hover of a top menu today!
