Alpha Mask Support
Having the ability to use a mask with opacity is pretty basic. This feature has been in Illustrator since the beginning... Photoshop (of course with alpha masks) - it's in Sketch (mask mode > alpha)... pretty much all the apps... but not in XD? Why? Very strange.

Please! Really need an image to be showing another image or other components underneath - the only way to achieve this is by an alpha channel within masking. (The workaround of apply "screen" blend mode to an image over a white to black block only gives the image the appearance of a gradient, however, it doesn't provide the actual transparency needed to show items underneath)

Yes, this is a mandatory feature in almost any graphics software. Hope we will see this soon because then I can move more to use XD. Many design tasks need gradient masking...

With intro of the scroll blocks, it's even more pressing that this feature gets incorporated.
Come on Adobe, you're making great strides with designing for mobile apps, yet the UX of your primary UX design programme is frustrating at times...especially when competitors, nevermind other applications within CC, have the same features.

Please allow the alpha values in masking so we can have a gradient mask or mask with feather borders, this feature is already present in all graphic tools of adobe (illustrator, photoshop and even Fireworks), this is essential for have a simple workflow without the need to switch back and forth between many applications in order to get that basic result.
