Auto-animate support for shadows
When I animate drop-shadows on an element it doesn't animate with the rest of the element. Only after the element has animated does the shadow jump instantaneously from value set A to value set B.

This is definitely a need, to help the state change look professional.

Yo adobe, we still need it ...

Yes plz. It would be a much better presentation to stakeholders if the shadow change animated with the rest of the changes on hover.

When I create buttons in Xd, I want to save them as a component, add a hover state to it and add a shadow so it looks lifted. Right now Xd only supports changing color, outline and maybe size but managing shadows is not possible. Please add!

Yes, please! Looks really bad when the shadow just "appears" out of nowhere instead of fading in/out.

Support auto-animate for drop shadows by fading in/out.
Please also support color transitions

We really need the shadows to animate in our prototypes, e.g. off canvas mobile menu, animated raised buttons on hover.
Is this on the roadmap yet?

Very much appreciate the workaround from Josh, but strongly vote feature. I have such a simple need to fade shadow in or out (and also to animate the blur to 1px to effectively have the drop shadow transform into a divider line)

Way to less votes than this feature request deserves.

Just wanted to mention that you can work around this by duplicating the object, applying the drop-shadow to the duplicated object in the background, then having that background object change in size and/or opacity to create various effects on the drop shadow, such as emerging from behind the object or fading in.
