Remove mobile preview's dependency on Creative Cloud
Objective
XD's mobile preview is less than ideal for larger organizations, due to the requirement that files must exist in Creative Cloud before the mobile app can access them. This causes friction where organizations have established file storage restrictions in services other than Creative Cloud (i.e. Google Drive, Box, etc.).
Business Case for Adobe
Rather than focusing on a tethered experience for Windows (https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007-adobe-xd-feature-requests/suggestions/17453770-tethered-usb-mobile-device-preview-on-windows), I'd rather a better untethered experience that is platform agnostic, thus benefitting more users (at larger organizations) with less code.
Notes/Thoughts
The existing prototype publishing functionality currently uploads files to Adobe's servers and gives us a hashed URL to share with stakeholders. Perhaps this publishing feature could be extended such that the mobile app can access published prototypes.
This idea was previously ranted about on https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007-adobe-xd-feature-requests/suggestions/31307521-creative-cloud-files-preview

The dependency on the cloud to upload prototypes is KILLING me. I should be able to connect my phone through USB and have the prototypes I uploaded available to me whether or not I'm connected to the cloud. It would be like the main freaking advantage you guys have over Invision. Traveling with limited wifi connectivity makes it impossible to update prototypes on the go. I get it, cloud technology is amazing but let users have another option until internet access is literally impossible not to have globally.
