Specify overlay transition origin
The new overlay feature is great. But a wonderful small improvement would be to allow us to use the slide transitions but to specify where to slide in from. That way, we could have elements enter and exit from specific points on the artboard.
You might also be interested in symbol states, which should enable you to do things like dropdowns: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/13031871

Yes - this is a much needed feature as I cannot simulate a drop down menu working if the overlay feature always drops down from the top of the layout. We need to be able to select a X or Y value for this. Then we can really prototype and show a client how a menu might work. This is also especially relevant if I have the phones browser mocked up or the IOS nav in the design (ie battery, mobile carrier icons) as the overlay needs to be able to transition from below this artwork. Hopefully one day...

Right! It's a great addition, but if you watch the very video that Adobe posted to demonstrate the new Overlay functionality, you'll see that it covers the header. Looks fine on a mobile design, but not so much on a PC design.
