Save shadows to assets panel
The ability to save drop (box) shadows to your component library within XD, as you can with colours, text styles and symbols.

Every time I Google how to use a feature on XD that I used to use on Figma, the first result is the feature request page where someone is asking Adobe to create that feature. So frustrating, Adobe!!

Now I need to change shadow colour across so many artboards and numerous shapes cause client aksed for a different colour theme.
Shape and style colours were easily changed in the assets panel, but shadows....pheeew!!!

Changing shadow on 200 components by hand is the best... Why can't shadows be an asset?

Yep, I'm missing this. I moved to Sketch because it has a more holistic style functionality. I came back to try xd, since I find it's easier to use, but nope, yet not progressed on this point.

Shadows should be included in the styles. If not, make it so that I can tweak the standard shadow setting to be say 50% black, full hardness (0 blur) and 2 pixels down.
Similarly you should be able to change your base font to anything you prefer.

Save whole shadow preset into favorites same as you can do it with colors.
Or save it into assets like a new category probably or into the Colors -

Hi guys, first thanks for creating this tool
should be great if we can change the properties for the appearance like the fonts or colors (into assets), because sometimes I reuse components and I need to change those properties selecting one by one afterthat, I change appareance from sidebar and It isnot working wellthanks
