Include Rows in Layout Grid
Columns exist but rows would be useful for app screens and display units.

Wow, it's October 2022 and it has still not been implemented...

Yeah it's 2021 and as of the time of writing, this STILL hasn't been implemented. There really needs to be a horizontal layout system that can be displayed concurrently with the columns. InVision Studio has it, Figma has it, Sketch has it, so why doesn't XD?

Yep needed, given it's a huge part of spacing in a design system and Figma and Sketch have it.

Look at the way Invision Studio is making it.
I feel it's missing in XD;You can have Vertical Column, Horizontal Rows, and Square Grid overlaying each other in the preview. Very useful, also to keep consistency and vertical rythm.

Uhm, it seems no one seems to care? I can't believe this.

Thanks, Elaine for your response.
I know the repeat grid functionality, actually, I use it very often.
The vertical division is intended for a different purpose. It would build a modular grid where to work with many different modules. Think about it in a desktop newspaper homepage (which is what I'm designing right now) Different height modules must combine along the four columns width of the page. Sure you can do it with Repeat Grid, but its easier to think about modules when you have a modular grid on the page...
This is a sample of what I'm talking about.

It would be great to have an option to draw modules dividing the columns vertically the same way you can do it on InDesign. That is useful to work on card-based design systems.
