Please add it back!
My clients and product managers loved it! And it's really useful to be able to tell the prototype app tiles apart without trial-and-error launches to find the one i'm looking for. I make a LOT of prototypes for various projects. My phone is full of little "XD" app tiles and it's annoying to find the one prototype i'm looking for.

Can you please bring it back? Marvel app allow us to do that, very valuable during a demo, seems more real. You lost a lot of user because of that.

Please add back. Loved the native app feel of the icon. Now it looks terrible when you try to present on your phone.

Please bring this back! The publish dialog is incredibly lonely now and there is plenty of space to fit it back in.

Agree with everyone on here, could we please get this back. Prototyping is all about creating an experience that feels authentic and testing user response, having an icon that looks real adds a great deal to this. I’m taking this to Reddit to get some support as well. Just do it adobe!! Thanks

Really miss this element. Having multipole XD buttons on your phone rather than client or project logos doesn't work. No feedback from Adobe since Nov 2017 so guess they've given up.....shame!

Definitely need this! I'll have to look for a different product to use if this doesn't work.

( it's a big difference when you show your demo to the client on your mobile with the app logo on the home screen).

Agree, bring it back. Don't know who you surveyed to come to the conclusion that it was 'hardly ever used' but I don't know a single person who develops on XD that does not use this feature. Maybe you guys are asking the wrong people.

This, along with the fact that after x number of years you still cannot create a sticky section is insane.

Come on guys, we are not asking for groundbreaking functionality here! Every single other prototyping solution in the market already has this. You guys are doing a pretty poor job of XD with your XD solution.

Yes!!! I really miss this

When i first started using XD, i could use the product's logo for the "app button." By creating a shortcut from the browser on the clients' smartphones, we could make it appear as though the prototype was a native app button / tile on their home screens. Clients loved it. This used to be a feature under the "Publish Prototype" action, I believe.

Where did it go?

The prototype shortcut "app button" now only shows the XD logo. This is particularly annoying when you make a lot of prototypes for various products and versions. We have at least a dozen XD app buttons now on our smartphones instead of something that resembles the product's "native" app button.

I am told this feature has been removed. Can you please bring it back?

Un défaut d'avoir cette option réactivée (je comprends vos motivations), peut-on supprimer l'affichage du favicon navigateur et de la vignette (qui s'affichent quelques secondes avant l'affichage du prototype) que nous puissions produire un travail cohérent et propre?
Cela me semble être le minimum.
Vous nous obligez à repartir de 0 dans nos fichiers et l'expérience qui en découle est vraiment mauvaise.
