Text formatting
Where are the text formatting tools present on Photoshop and illustrator ?
- underline
- all in capital
- small capital
- superior/exponent
- inferior/sign
- barred
Even making a copy / paste formatting of the text isn't preserved.
Waiting for an answer from Adobe XD Team
Best regards

How about making a list?

Xd is still in beta IMHO :/ So many basic functions are missing. Still PS is better in many cases for webdesigners.

All these text updates should just be included in one feature request. There is SO MUCH work Adobe needs to do with text in XD. It nowhere near matches what one can do with text in HTML with CSS. You'd think a prototyping tool would be at least just as flexible with text.

Same text formatting as photoshop etc is a must .. PLEASE implement this ASAP! : )

Guys, just take a look at Illustrator or Indesign, that's all you need to know, it's already done.

This should be a part of this request:

I mean, text controls as a whole are sorely lacking. I would add to this list bullets as well (even though that's on a separate, just as forgotten suggestion they haven't answered)

Come on Adobe - ask the InDesign team to help out populating XD with their type tools for text formatting. This is essential for briefing client/back end people etc
At vey least multiple Paragraph style sheets which can be used in the same text box.I love XD but come on Adobe.

I just cant understand how this ABSOLUTELY MUST feature is lacking in XD and Adobe Team doesnt even reviewing this absolutely, absurdly basic request for 2 years already... I started my first mockup and all went super fine until I bumped into such absolutely basic thing like ® and ¹ glyphs.... no glyphs, no baseline shift, only underline.... Why I need other things in your updates when I cant even transform basic text and your app becomes completely un-usefull.. Pls move your asses Adobe Team for gods sake!

Hello Adobe Creative Team !
and i thank you to everyone for this great XD tool.here i have found some interaction with Text capitalization so it would be better and useful if you featured for text to ALL CAPITALIZATION.
please find the below attachments and go through it once !!

This is an absolute must! Not having these (very basic) options is a huge productivity hit. They say that typography is 90% of the web design (and I agree) – hence to me not having these options pretty much disqualifies the app.

I would say, look at Illustrator, photoshop and indesign and if there is anything else you want o ad din for type capabilities, that should be your starting point for this product, then add on more capability if necessary, this really shouldn't be a topic that should be a feature request, it should be done as a Adobe standard initial product release.

Round trip editing between XD, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign would be brilliant. That could be the workaround to the "subfeature" conundrum. If text could be mocked up in InDesign (the best tools) and imported to XD, and updated as needed with roundtrip editing, NOW THAT WOULD BE KILLER.

Adobe's legacy applications have such exquisite control over text and paragraph settings, and Dreamweaver and Muse have similar capability over HTML/CSS, it's actually stunning that XD does not include both text formatting and HTML object support, such as Headings 1-6, bullets and numbered lists, paragraph spacing, margins and indents, etc.

Main point for me.
