Find Font (globally replace one font with another)
Include a "find font" panel like in Adobe Illustrator to globally replace one font with another. Even with the symbol/assets panel this is hard for documents that you did not architect and may require a lot of extra work (i.e. the iOS UI kits in a windows environment where San Francisco font has to be downloaded from third party sources and converted manually to .ttf)

This would greatly help in medium and big projects with many different font styles being used!!

I have a work around on this issue.
adobe xd version 39.0
1. highlight an artboard
2. switch to "document asset" panel
3. click the "+" in "character style" section
4. you will see all the font in the artboard will be added to this section
5. found the font you want to change and right click "edit"
6. change the font style -

Yes please! This would be super useful when importing PSD designs that don't have character styles setup

Is there a solution for this after X years?

Yeah this is a complete nightmare if you haven't used the character styles. Even then, character styles are pretty bad and it doesn't work well.

We have a design system with hundreds of components using San Francisco. I'm on windows and need to swap font globally to Roboto.

I agree step 3 is useful to understand what's going to change

Doesn't work when user tries to replace exisiting fonts, by linked ones...

Step 3 was there just to show me what I was going to change.
It would also be nice to hear if this process was 'useful' rather than that one step was 'useless'.

Step 3 is useless
1. Select a word in the text that you want to change
2. Select Add Character Style
4. Right click on the new Character Style and select Edit.
5. Change the Font to what you want -

Try this. It worked for me.
1. Select a word in the text that you want to change
2. Select Add Character Style
3. Right click on the new Character Style and select Highlight on Canvas
4. Right click on the new Character Style and select Edit.
5. Change the Font to what you wantAll of the selected text is now in the new font.
You may have to repeat this process for font size variants.Hope it works for you.

Its ridiculous how this is not a feature. XD can tell me when a font is not supported, show me all instances of the font, and let me replace them with another. But it can't let me perform the same task when there isn't an issue??

Hi all,
I just made a plugin called FindFont. It is live in AdobeXD and could help do global font replace to an extent. Hope this helps.
