Import color swatches from Photoshop and Illustrator
Introduce a new feature that lets you import color swatch libraries from photoshop or illustrator.
I’m leaving this open for now, but if you’re interested in using color swatches from Photoshop and Illustrator, you can export them to a CC Library and use them in the Assets Panel directly within XD. Hope that helps!

I tried the CC Library route but it's very laborious unless I'm doing wrong. In my Photoshop I had to drag individual swatch one by one to the library (even if I selected all swatches but when I dragged them, only the first swatch got added to the library) and there's no feature of grouping the swatch. The brand I'm working on has many colors so this method is still inefficient comparing to importing swatches directly.

I can't believe this is not a default feature.

I've created a swatch library of colors for the software-developers I work with, and those colors have unique variable-names (the developers do NOT want to guess or use hex-codes). I NEED THESE VARIABLE-NAMES TO EXIST IN XD! It is currently a nightmare passing off XD-mockups, because the color variable-names are not identified (only color hex-codes are). PLEASE ADD THIS FUNCTIONALITY

Is this function on in the latest version? I vote for it if it's still missing from Adobe XD.

We need import color swatches from Photoshop and Illustrator or even Adobe Color to XD in order to make our work smother and quicker, see the library on XD but when I click Browse libraries show a pop up with the cloud documents of XD nothing about other assets.
I created pallets in Adobe Color that now I have to copy paste every color manually. I have to do many click fro something that shouldn't take that much.
We should access this colors and assets on XD as easy as we do from Photoshop and AI

Upvote for *.ase import/export ... it's your own swatch exchange format, c'mon Adobe!

It is absolutely a hindrance for smooth work if the colors defined in Illustrator are not adopted with the defined color names.

I'd love to be able to import from other Adobe products — or even just be able to open .ase files!

This is such a basic function in all Adobe products. I can't understand how this wasn't in the first version.
