Splash screen on the launch of XD
I want you guys to implement and make a splash screen for XD too. Not just for aesthetics style, and not just to be inline with Adobe CC apps too, but to show immediacy to the XD app instead of a plain grey color on the splash, a clever workaround to make transition on launching the XD to showing the Start page, but on users like me, time is precious, and on that grey page, some users on old and slow machine, or let say you're a known multitasker and have so many apps running with you, you'll end up wit a grey page that you might accidentally thought the XD is not responding, hanging or some sort, As we're a UX designing tool, our UX metaphor should be well refined and thoughted too, and this type of communication to the user's UX isn't efficient and could be not working at some point.
Look at all the attached concepts I made. I made two concepts for this . I'll explain how they could be implemented well here.
A splash screen just like any UWP app
Just a simple splash, a big XD icon at the middle, full XD brand name wordmark text at the bottom, Adobe CC logo at the side, a graphic text indicating what XD CC year release is this? Is this 2017 CC release? (Not sure if those two are really possible rn on UWP) and a full bleed XD brand color splash background. Splash graphics could also be dynamically responsive to whatever the size of the window is (if launched Windowed) and has Close, Maximize and minimize button at the top. Loader ball could be also implemented at the bottom of graphic brand name wordmark to show that it's really loading. Then a fade to grey to well transition to Start pageSplash screen inline and just like any Adobe CC Win32 apps
Now this is a much trickier and clever workaround implementation. This. I want XD to design a splash screen inline with the current 2017 CC apps splash screen, you know the one with the Square featured Behance art. XD team could pick a artboard design/UI/UX design to feature on the art. But the trick here is to both show the splash both on maximized or full screen mode or in windowed mode. The whole splash graphic will float in the splash background color of XD's brand color. So if you made it windowed, it will look like just like the floating splash screen of any other Win32 CC apps. But if you maximized it, it's still full bleed in brand color. I'll recommend to not make the brand color overlay of splash screen graphic itself to be not transparent, include the overlay also just in case. The advantage here over regular Win32 CC apps splash screen, both the windowed and maximized will still have a windows buttons so in case the user for example accidentally launch XD, It's closable right away.
I really hope you consider this because I really put time making this up.
Also remember the launch window size preferences of the user, please don't always launch it on windowed mode just to make the Start page floating

@mhlmt Yea but if the user's device is just super fast, then it will and should start quick and even immediately. Also, Adobe's splash screen to it's software suites are as almost as iconic as their brand and their software brands, and is almost a tradition on their product line, so it would be dumb if XD didn't follow and do this soon.
This btw a very light priority feature suggestion, I would still appreciate if they do this even on next year, although I'm certain this is just a very small work to implement

I could read and understand the environment of the job where you are located. However, multitask personnel should review their own work environment. Implementing a splash screen for users on older and slower machines is detrimental to many users who do not fit it.
