Decrease loading time while clicking through prototype
While clicking through prototypes via de share link, it takes a lot of time for it to load pages. This is simply a no-go whilst presenting a prototype to customers.
Because every screen is loaded individually, when clicking on a button it takes several seconds to only load a "rollover". This a bit awkward when sitting around the table with clients who expect a clickable website.
Because online sharing is the only way to keep it clickable I have now no choice but to use Sketch instead.
Thinking out loud, I would suggest doing the following:
- improving the server
- caching the website
- loading the website as a whole and not individually
- decreasing file sizes
- Adding a second possibily to export as a offline clickable website

Hello,
I'd liked to minimize the waiting for downloading my xd animation when launching it…
Here is an example for a better understanding = https://xd.adobe.com/view/3b84d109-3442-4fe3-6b19-b2742407cbf8-4db5/
It seems that my browser (chrome version 73.0.3683.103) downloads the entire animation before displaying the splash image.
Which means that the screen stays empty for 5 to 20 seconds (depending on the weight of my animation…)
In addition to this, the animation becomes really fluid after a first "loop"…
Is it possible to download (like for video streaming) my splash screen first then other screens in background…
Or maybe to display a lighter animation first (till the bigger one is downloaded…)
Is this pb to be solved in xd or by coding in html5 ?
Thanx for your help and ideas.
