Has there been any advances to this? I need this feature to streamline workflow.

Just wondering if there's been any movement on this? I love how easy it is to make and share protoypes with XD, but I'd like to be able to use individual artboards (hi-fi mockups) within user flow diagrams (a larger containing artboard that also contains text, arrows, etc). I do this on a regular basis with Sketch.

@Jan Jiran — that is not a workable solution.
1) I don't always want every artboard included, and XD doesn't let you select invidual artboards and paste them INTO other artboards, it always places them next to it.
2) Now I have to go and create artboard-sized boxes around all of my screens so that you can see the edges (we have a lot of white backgrounds)? No way, too much of a pain.

Here's what I'm trying to do: Would like to make a flow map out of my individual screens -- either by putting the artboards on a bigger artboard, or by creating a "slice" where I can export all of them in one image (plus arrows/etc on the background of the canvas). (Also commented this on https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007-adobe-xd-feature-requests/suggestions/13604457-slice-elements-when-exporting-jpegs-pngs, which would solve my problem as well).

It's possible.
cmd/ctrl + A inside canvas to select all artboards, then cmd/ctrl + C. Create large new artboard (A) and paste the copied items in it. After that, select the artboard and cmd/ctrl + E for export.

Need this feature to speed up my work flow. we have to share mobile app designs for review and exportting after arranging all art board in one parent art board makes it a quick process

I agree...I run the design team for a rather large company and this is a feature we'd like to implement into our weekly workflow to give people a heads up as to upcoming projects and creative progress. We tend to build out our 7 week creative in one file and break it up per week...I'd love the ability to create a massive single file in order to export as a PDF or JPG and print it out monthly to be on display for senior management.

Currently, I can export all artboards to multiple PDF files or a single PDF file. Just add the option to export all artboards to a single PDF page. Thanks!

Export everything inside an artboard including other artboards
For instance to display a wire frame in a single image

Yesterday I spend 30+ min to export 28 artboards in one PNG file. Maybe simplest solution would be to add "export area" and all artboard and elements on "Pasteboard" inside this "export area" would be included in a final output file.

Be able to export all artboards as one page. I do so in another program for my developers. Please see image. I have different layers for komments for client, for developer, of description, sizes, background, page number. Each layer can be visible/unvisible for the client. The pdf page can be printed on A4 pages if you choose a Poster mode in Adobe Reader (you can switch off background layer). It is handy because developer or clien can see all windows, can zoom in and see details and descriptions, can print it, stick together with adhesive tape in a large map and hang on the wall.

It is SO basic... the lack of SIMPLE things like this, is making my life REALLY hard.

I currently can place artboards inside other artboards on the canvas. But this is not reflected in the layers panel, i.e the contained artboards are not grouped inside the containing artboard. When I move the containing artboard, none of the (visually containted) artboards move with it. Similar, when exporting the containing artboard to PDF/PNG, the contained artobards are not displayed.

Real nested artboards would be very useful for me to achieve the following:
1) Group my screens into logical groups, with the ability to move this whole group someplace else on the canvas as needed

2) Place textual information next to contained artboards, and place flow indications between different contained artboards. To document logic on specific screens and interactions between screens. (Prototype mode does rarely cover all of these). I realize I can do this already, but the added information outside of the artboard does not move with the artboard . Putting all this together in a containing artboard would move everything together as needed.

3) Export the containing artboard(s) with all contained artboards and the above described additional logic info to PDF to use as as spec and/or for reviews.

I think I am on the same page here...I am using Xd to wireframe out an app and just want to be able to export all of my screens so that I can show them all on one page. I do not want to export them into individual pages.
