Infinite Canvas
One of the main reasons we use Sketch is because of the infinite canvas. For large web projects, there can easily be 60+ artboards at 1920px width, which would run into the edge of XD's canvas. Please make it infinite - it's also very annoying trying to zoom into an artboard at the edge of the canvas, since you can't center the artboard in the view properly.

Make it happen please

Please add this feature! We want to take advantage of components, creating a Master file with all of our app features/pages. Need to make an unintuitive layout to make it work.

Desperately need this feature on board to complete my projects. Adobe please release this soon

This issue has been here for almost 4 years and Adobe doesn't give a shit to remove the silly limitation of 50.000px. I regret having made the decision to use XD. I think I will switch to Sketch.

This is a must have. Working on large project with now 7 working XD documents. Missing a trick guys.

I've just hit this problem and now i'm screwed. 80% through creating a design system for a substantial project I have realised that there are limits to the canvas, and i can't arrange my art boards in a sensible layout.
Like another contributor said, it's relatively easy to have a project with enough art boards to run out of space, and now the defining feature of a design system (single source of truth with all information in one place) has to be thrown out the window.
On the bright side, the unending performance problems XD has when using components won't be such an issue now. -

4 years... It's unbelievable this feature is still not there. 🤯 Now we can use Xd only for small projects. 😧

Just ran out of canvas space and it's indeed a bit frustrating to have to manage multiple files now, since it means losing a clear visual representation of our application's flow.
Not the end of the world for us, but definitely a love-to-have. Infinite canvas seems better than pages, although that would be cool too – since with the canvas, you get to link everything up more easily in Prototype mode. -

It is so hard to explore and arrange design concepts in Xd because of the tiny amount of space to iterate within. The canvas size is very limiting and without pages, the problem is compounded.

Please add an infinite canvas and/or multiple pages. It's severely limiting.

It’s a big issue for me. Sometimes I think in going back to sketch because of this...

I am putting my vote in for both the infinite canvas and for having multiple pages like Figma. This has been a huge hindrance to doing client work in XD.

I can't fathom how this isn't solved. It makes XD impractical for professional work... off-brand for Adobe.

Any updates?

I ran out of room today on my canvas... This seems like a crazy oversight.

This feature is really important. Why no improvement since 4 years?

Main reason why I am sticking with Sketch-- no infinite canvas in XD!

I would like multiple canvases within one file so I can have different userflows within the same file, but not have them all visible at the same time.

Agreed! This is way up there on the list of most dumb/annoying things about XD. I'd be okay with a limited canvas such as Illustrator but at least make it large enough for a complete site!!
Not having multiple pages and then managing multiple files is the worst!!
