Infinite Canvas
One of the main reasons we use Sketch is because of the infinite canvas. For large web projects, there can easily be 60+ artboards at 1920px width, which would run into the edge of XD's canvas. Please make it infinite - it's also very annoying trying to zoom into an artboard at the edge of the canvas, since you can't center the artboard in the view properly.

Designer's can't switch at work, because every Sketch file we use has 216 1920x1080 artboards in them and Xd won't show that many.

I understand that many boards can fit into the space provided, more than enough for any project, but I like to organize my boards in a way that helps me to plan out and make sense of the overall structure of my projects. Working with boards in this way takes up a lot of space, more than what is currently provided, so it would benefit me greatly if that limited space be changed to something that could accommodate my preferred way of using these boards. But rather than having to set the dimensions of this space, I suggest making those dimensions expand and contract according to how it is used. I hope this gets implemented soon. Thank you for continuing to improve this wonderful product. All the best.

Maybe scale down the request: Please double the canvas as a start! Thanks!

Not having an infinite canvas drove me away from Adobe years ago and it's still a sticking point. My team have more artboards than XD can handle and no one wants to switch because of this. Please continually loop me in on status updates. Thanks.

ALL of my Sketch-projects blow up XDs canvas … It's not only the amount of artboards it's also to place the artboards in a logical order and that often requires to have more space in the width and height!

This is still a big problem, if you can't link XD files, then the infinite canvas is a necessity! Please solve this seemingly simple thing. Sometimes you want to organize menus and things and need to keep things clean in the canvas!

Hi, I've been using XD for 2 weeks now after years on Sketch. And already I hit the canvas limit on XD. What is this? Please make it infinite. For years I haven't had to worry about this on Sketch.
Apparently this issue has been started in 2016, but still in 2018 it's an issue apparently.

Very important!!! One of the famous reasons for me still using Sketch!

This is also a huge issue when opening sketch files in XD - a lot of my artboards go off the bottom of XD's canvas and I can no longer see them since I can't scroll down that far.

Since it is not infinite boards, it would be nice to link to other files at least. I can't have everything in one file!!!

My app contains many screens that cannot fit into Adobe XD...

Hi Elaine, thank you and the devs team for your efforts. I'm looking forward to it.

Hi Elaine, Hi Corey, thanks for the quick response.
I'm currently limited by the workspace scale, so I couldn't tell you exactly the number of artboards I would need to display, but it would approximatively be about 200 web artboards scaled on 1920*1080. As sometimes I have to create multiple artboards for the different states of a webpage, I could need a few more artboards.
However, following the next evolutions of Adobe XD, I could also need far less artboards.
For example, if the prototyping could allow to dynamically animate an artboard without creating a new one, it would be really helpful and would reduce the number of art boards needed for the prototype around 120 artboards.Linford

About how many artboards are you envisioning and what are their sizes? Are these mobile artboards or web? We can definitely go larger but at that point you are left with a pretty unwieldy document no?
Thank you for the feedback.

I'm actually designing the UI and the wireframe of a heavy web app, but as progressing I quickly came up to the fact that the workspace wouldn't be big enough to acheive the whole app. In fact, I would need a workspace at least 5 or 6 times bigger...
Would it be possible to choose the size of the work space as in Illustrator ?

This limitation is such a drag. I have now run into the edge of my canvas but cannot move everything to the top-left canvas corner at once (since I cannot select artboards and items outside artboard, such as titles, together).

Totally agree!!! I really like 90% of the features of Adobe XD, but this is a deal breaker for us because of the same reasons stated in the summary.

This is critical.....It is such a pain, having to stack them or keep moving them around to make space. Just look at Sketch!!!!!

I would prefer a way to have shared libraries (perhaps also introduce that functionality as it exists in other Adobe apps like Illustrator and Photoshop), and to be able to link different prototypes together.
I find projects with a very large amount of screens to be hard to work with. -

I've also already run out of space for flows and would enjoy a more unlimited approach so that I can organize how I want
