Gradient color swatches in color picker popup
Thanks for adding gradients !
Right now, we can add colours to our 'favourites' with the + button, could we also save gradients when in the gradient tool?
Something really nice too would be to allow the pipette to pick the gradient of a shape/artboard.
These too would save a lot of time !!

I'm very disappointed to see this basic feature is not a thing at the end of 2022. Come on, Adobe!!

Please update this.. I mean every other tool can do it. It's so basic but so necessary.

Another basic feature missing. and 2016? What a joke.

Come on, add this feature. Takes ages to re-apply complex gradients...

I found a post from 3 years ago when this was asked. As far as i'm concerned this is a basic feature that needs to get some priority.
You can add colors -> so you can add color swatches
You can add gradient -> but you cannot save these? Not even in a library? -

Is there any chance this feature gets finished any time soon? I know you guys have a lot of work on your shoulders, but it's been three years already...
IMO the gradient should act just like a regular color. If I want to fill an object with a gradient, I should be able to choose it from the color palette.

It would also be great to have the option to add gradient points as separate colour swatches, I can't believe that this isn't a thing yet.

Has this feature been under process for a year? Plus, this request is sent in 2016. Sad. So sad.

- Storing gradients in assets panel would be great, except it doesn't respect the angle of the gradient when applying it to other shapes. (which is a bug on it's own, and problematic if your design has a lot of angled gradients)
- Paste Appearance is alright, but sometimes it pastes more stuff like rounded corners, borders, shadows and other effects when I don't want to, and just want the fill gradient.
but regardless of the workaround, it is inexcusable that XD still can't save gradients in color picker popup which is an extremely basic and simple feature, and to be expected of any design software even in its pre-release stages.

(the gradient bug was reported in April already and should be quite straightforward to address)

adobe, please address the bug that neglects to respect the gradient angle for gradients saved as assets!

Yes please. Especially now in 2018 gradient galore... In XD I'm spending more time constantly creating my gradients... instead of just clicking a swatch.

Should be a feature, takes way to much time...

It would be nice to be able to save gradient on the color palette.

Can you add support to save gradient swatches in the color picker? Its very hard to create a reusable gradient pattern. Currently you have to save individual swatches and apply them every time.

Yes, I see no reason why gradients shouldn't be swatches too.
