This is pretty basic stuff. I was trying to convert a Sketch fan to XD and when the lack of bullets and numbering came up, she was out. Please fix ASAP.

The ability to create bullet point and numbered lists is essential

I have to say say I am incredibly disappointed with how long this is taking. It has been years since this has been asked for, and I feel the community has been very patient. At this point it is just getting ridiculous and screams "we don't care, deal with it" from Adobe. All these other more complicated features have come out in recent releases. How is it that a simple formatting update can't be added to development? This product is meant to prototype websites and apps but we can't do basic HTML formatting.
Just get it done already.

XD isn't a serious tool until it has the basics like bullet points.

We're close to 3,5 years after this question, and as of the recent January 2020 update of Adobe XD, there's still no support for basic Rich Text functionality like bullet lists. You need to prioritise this Adobe. It's not possible to have a web project without bulleted or numbered lists, so we're constantly reminded about this, because we run into this annoying issue in every single project.

I came back four years later and this app is basically still in beta.

Illustrator has it, Photoshop has it, InDesign has it, HTML has it. WHY DOESN'T XD HAVE IT?!

Ugg. Why doesn't Adobe listen to their clients? We're all dying to leave as soon as your competition catches up and they are getting close.

head in hands.... asks "what the heck are you guys doing if this can't be implemented already!!"
Adding basic HTML enclosing tag features is critical. Such a great bit of software let down by missing stuff like this and leaves me constantly tempted to move back to Sketch or similar.

Please add bullet point functionality or something that can serve similarly in XD!
