This is essential tool. Surprised it takes so long to implement, especially when .AI and .PSD have this function already for ages.

Creating shadows, importing and exporting are very troublesome- SVGs are not exporting correctly through Zeplin losing the shadows with defaults to fills. Developers are having to find code work-arounds which is disturbing the work flow processes. Please improve and add features for improved creative efficiency. I see requests for many different shadow effects increasing in product enhancement requests.

and there is punit chawla on YouTube who is working very hard to bring alternate options for these kinda problems on XD hats-off to him

as we flagged about inner shadows in 2020 then i think that this feature will be updated in the next update .
that is in the 2021 Adobe XD update LOL...

Why stop there. COPY all of Photoshop layer effects into XD. Catch up to Sketch already. Why is Adobe XD development painfully slow?

Yes please, TBH not sure why this wouldn't already be in an interaction design application. LOL

I'm pulling for Adobe XD, but the lack of features like this is making it hard when Figma and Sketch have had them for a while. I was doing a homework assignment for a UI course I'm taking, but couldn't do the inner shadow exercise while all the other students that use the other big two could. XD is really leaving me with no choice but to jump to Figma. This should've been here a long time ago.

It's getting more and more required as Soft UI is trending recently with heavily relying on shadows.

Yes!!! this would be a huge help getting this in. I have to continually have separate conversations with the developers on how to handle the drop shadow, and have to comment the correct css in the wireframe link.

I had to pull something in from sketch to do this because this isn't an option on Xd. At some point, I'm going to have to ask why I'm using Xd instead of sketch... I wanted to get away from Sketch, but can't because of limitations such as this. Please integrate this feature, as inner shadows are basic pieces of many interface controls.

Integrating Inner shadow feature would be of great ease!!!

Almost every design application has inner shadow features. Would be great if you could add it to adobe xd cause it is my favorite design application.

No inner shadow? You can't make this up... BOOP: Removed from my dock. I thought about giving XD a try again but if Adobe is missing the most basic of features, I'm out of here.
