Line/stroke ending in arrows
Line start and end should allow arrows, triangle, or circles
Original request:
(this covers some topics already tracked elsewhere on UserVoice: please upvote those other suggestions if you're interested in dotted lines and CSS-driven styling).
In CSS and other adobe tools we have Stroke or Border options like type or style (dotted, dashed) start and end (arrows, triangle, circles). In XD we do currently have weight and color options, though it will be amazing to add these options to reflect dotted arrow line or dashed border around a rectangle etc.
Several of the items originally mentioned here are covered by other feature requests already:
- Dotted/dashed lines: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/13024749-dotted-and-dashed-line-border-styles
- Accept CSS as input for styling XD elements: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/12926715-use-css-to-specify-object-appearance
The only suggestion I think we don’t have listed yet is arrow-head line endings. To keep the request list tidy, I will change the title here so it is specifically focused on that one idea. Please upvote the other links above so your interest in those features is captured too.
Thanks for your feedback!

Please add a way to create simple arrows that you can bend like a line path.
This is such a basic feature and so needed in UX, I don't understand why we don't have access to that (even iOS ''Preview'' software has it !) -

Can you add this feature please ? That's very annoying, especially in UX design !

Please add a feature in which we can create a line with an arrow head on either of the side of the line.
Thanks !

Are you kidding me? This has been a known issue for 7 years and it hasn't been added?

I love XD, but....not having arrow endings to lines is a real pain. It's what is keeping me from using XD for flow charts etc

As a user I want the ability to add arrowheads to my strokes (like in Illustrator), so that I can create flow diagrams more easily.

Hi guys - I came across this thread because I wanted to use XD to create a user flow diagram for strategy/planning a new product. If this is your purpose too I found a free plugin called 'flowkit' which lets you create arrows/ double headed arrows etc
There are limits to the scaling you can do but it did the job for me in this instance.
I use my company's Adobe suite and it was free for me.
Posting because it would have saved me a lot of time if I'd had this.

Hello AdobeXD Product Team,
Would you please implement the basics?
This is a basic UI component for every designer. We all know how to make them but there are more important things to do than to draw an arrow. :-)

Hello AdobeXD Product Team,
Would you please implement the basics?
From the beginning of AdobeXD, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 till now 2021 and still no Arrows?
This is a basic UI component for every designer. We all know how to make them but there are more important things to do than to draw an arrow. :-)
Looking and unable to find, only brings a User a dosage of frustration and disappointment, a waste of our valuable time for searching so easy built-in and ready components as in every other Adobe program and Sketch and Figma.
I am actually really shocked after 15+ years of being in the industry. I have found so many things already, which do not work correctly, do not display correctly or are just missing.
This is basic to have arrows. I have started to use AdobeXD just recently, and I will come back to Sketch and Figma, just because I feel AdobeXD is not involving as per Users needs, wants and likes.
I kindly suggest listening to your audience and as promised in early 2016, 2017 and so to implement arrows and every other feature, which we all ask politely.
Would you please let me know and every other User, when all Users feedback will be implemented by the Product Team and the high quality of the product to the standards of the present market will be provided?
Thank you.
Kind Regards,
Katarzyna -

Goddamn it!
2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and now 2021, this basic feature has still not been added. Such a slow development despite clearly having the team and resources to do so!
Disappointed >:(
