Scroll bars (horizonal / vertical) on the XD window's viewport
I VPN to MAC within a PC environment (iRAPP via Citrix). Navigating in the application XD requires use of keyboard shortcuts, which is disabled due the nature of my secure remote-access.
Why not include a scrollbar to view panels in XD? Currently - I use the zoom-to-fit and zoom in order to view panels. It would be great to have a scroll bar within the application (as with Sketch).
Although Adobe XD does not currently provide scrollbars to navigate the view of your content, there are several different options to pan the viewport around:
- If you have a trackpad, use two fingers to pan (if you have an Apple Magic Mouse, you can use one finger to pan)
- Hold down Space Bar and drag the mouse
- Use the mouse scroll wheel to pan vertically, and use Shift + scroll wheel to pan horizontally

The issue isn't the lack of ability to scroll or pan. The issue is that test users don't see a scrollbar in the published environment to help them intuit more content and prompt them to scroll. This is a user issue, not a functionality one.

Please fix this Adobe - I can't share this with a client at present as there is no way to scroll the shared design in the browser on Windows.

In Windows 10... right click with context menu for zoom. be able to scroll left right up and down to get to areas of the project that are out of view.

If a user possessed only one hand or even one hand with limited mobility - scroll bars would make the program usable. Multi-hand keyboard/mouse combos are unwieldy.
Panning doesn't work with Windows 10 PC trackpads. I tried and tried. As of July 2019, you must left click your trackpad button and hold down the space bar. You have to do this several times before the hand "grabs" and you can scroll. So the following advice is incorrect:
- If you have a trackpad, use two fingers to pan (if you have an Apple Magic Mouse, you can use one finger to pan)
- Hold down Space Bar and drag the mouseI'm not requesting you remove current functionality. I'm requesting you add to it so EVERYONE can use the software.

Please add scroll bars to the XD view port. Too much time is spent dragging around the pasteboard/artboards. Adds friction in the design process.

if you hold down on your mouse scroll wheel, you will be able to drag the interface left and right.

I agree with Helen. you need a horizontal scroll bar in XD. Oh and i don't agree to terms of service, i just want to post a comment.

This is about the dumbest design I have ever seen. A tool to design UX with such a difficult UX itself. Seems pretty ironic. Makes XD virtually useless for me. Furthermore, the response from the admin simply does not work. I press the space bar and get a hand icon but it doesn't do anything. Thanks for this worthless app. Uninstalling now...

This displays how arrogant and selfish Adobe is. They hardly bother about the user interface. Not having scrollbars is too frustrating in Windows 10.

Have you tried using just one hand? C'mon man! Scroll bars aren't that hard to implement.

I can’t scroll around the windows at all. None of the above work. No wonder they are not game to charge for this useless program.

Who was the utter moron who decided not to include scrollbars? This is like UX 101 people...content I can't get to is content that doesn't exist.

From what I can tell, XD is Adobe's answer to the very popular Sketch prototyping software. The look and feel of XD, as well as many of the tools and features available, are very similar to Sketch's. Sketch does not have scroll bars either, but since their software is only available on Mac, they don't have to cater to PC users.

Would really like to see scroll bars, very standard stuff.

@Peter Seems pretty standard to support scrollbars. On large designs its faster since there is no way to select and zoom into a specific artboard. (at least I have figured it out). Scrollbars are faster than all of this drag stuff.

@elaine - the spacebar+drag isn't overly intuitive to newer users. It would be nice to see scrollbar in the workspace to move around your artboards.

It would be great to have a bar at the bottom of the application so you can scroll from art board to artboard. Without an apple touch screen mouse, I am unable to scroll through my designs.
