Wireframe mode
It would be really helpful if they incorporate a third wireframe option along side design and prototype. May be they can change the Design label to Mockup. This will be a great help for both UX and UI Designers .
Then later wireframes could have stencils that designers can use to quickly wireframe the app or page. The whole process can be a collaborative i.e. the wireframes --> Mockups --> Prototype and export the prototype or video.

Also would be great if you could reuse the components in the mockup as the original ones. A component created in wireframe, any change would only affect the wireframe tab and you can edit the "original one" in the mockup to make all components in the mockup tab update but leaving the wireframe ones as they are.

or as Basaltic can we have an option that alter the quality of the mockup so it does not look like too hight fidelity. e.g turn colors to shade of blues/greys - wonky lines

This feature would be really helpful to share designs without giving the idea that they're final and could probably work with one big artboard.

Yes! This is an important missing feature, it will also help user flow and keeping files clean.

Yes, please! I came here to suggest this idea and found this so I just upvoted it. Also to add to that, make the wireframe mode have some form of user map and storyboarding, allowing users to actually draw with a pen input to quickly put down ideas. also stencils! and Icons! very important, so we would not need Microsoft Visio. after all that is the mission of Adobe XD, to be an "END TO END" user experience designing tool. also, it would be cool if the mobile app could have the wireframe part that allows using touch input to literally draw or put down ideas you get while not in the office or in front of your pc., (I should post a new idea for that). at the end of the day, every idea and wireframe in wireframe mode acts as a reference in normal design mode. for example, if I have 10 artboards in my wireframe, 10 "Ghost" artboards appear in my design. I can then work on them one by one. if you guys can see this, I'm sure you would agree this would be sooooo cool to have. the competition can go to sleep after this.

It would be great if there was better integration between the desktop app with XD files and the app where we could have a third mode: Low-Fidelity, Design, and Prototype. It would be so cool to have something kind of similar to Invisions Freehand where we could sketch out low-fidelity screens for whatever we are working on.
This way, if we aren't using paper for low-fidelity, we can keep all of our assets stored in one place.

I would love to have this feature!
Firstly, because my concept/flow mockups will not be taken as final designs, and
Secondly, because the audience I show them to, will not be distracted by the colours but rather focus on the contenet. -

I would also like if we could quickly sketch an app's flowchart/site map, like a tool to make organograms (focusing on good design, not like some business software).
Adobe XD would cover almost the whole process. -

This would be a great feature for getting early-stage feedback on designs. Having a sketchy-wireframy-mode that can be toggled on and off would be amazing.

Totally agree! Here is a temporary solution I've been using for wireframing:

Like in Omnigraffle and Balsamiq, in XD design mode, I would like a freehand line style so my prototypes are not to be viewed as final designs.

I'd second that feature. Having an overview of screen flows helps everyone - especially when explaining to a client where they are in their clickable demo.

This entire piece of software is designed for designers who want to be UX'ers. I can count on one hand how many high fidelity wireframes Ive made in my career.
Enable this tool to quickly build rough wires.

I would love this feature as well. Essentially implement balsamiq into Adobe XD as the mode just before Design.
Would save my Product team's life. Right now we have to convert Balsamiq > XD manually. We could do it all in the same file.

I also like to have this feature on XD. Right now i manage this by using a wireframe ui kit the i made. https://www.behance.net/gallery/40454703/Article-Wireframing-Kit-for-Adobe-XD
