3D transforms like Illustrator
to be able to shear, 3D rotate etc would be useful. This would reflect css 3D transforms.
Example use would be creating isometric mockups.
This is now available for you in today’s release of XD 34. You can learn more about this at https://letsxd.com/3d-transforms. Enjoy!

really need this one. I always use XD but for lack of some features like this one, sometime go to other softwares.

I would love to be able to rotate any shape or text on the XYZ axis.
From devices mockups to grid-breaking designs, it would allow us to design more without having to rely on Photoshop / After Effects to (destructively) 3D transform images and then importing them in XD.
I drafted a quick animation of how I'd like to have this feature but i'm no UI designer !
PS : Also included in the animation is another feature request of mine : please bring us those sweet input slide handles like in AE !! It doesn't get handier than this for quick iterations :)

It would be nice to be able to mimic 2D and 3D tranforms that are possible with CSS - 2D skew & pinch. 3D rotated in perspective on the X Y or Z axis. I can only think of one proto app that can do that right now which is Flinto. There are a lot of mobile app designs out there that use the paper folding effect, like collaping accordions and pages that rotate on an axis point to move out of the way. Attached file shows a page that is 3D transformed to simulate a page that swings like a door out of the way for a menu to transition in.

I need to be able to rotate elements in the z-axis for prototyping digital signage layouts that get created in html/css
