Expand Stroke / Create Outlines (convert stroke to separate filled path)

In Illustrator, I can draw an object and then use Expand to convert the strokes to a fill.

I would like to be able to do this in XD

    How is this not a thing. I keep running into features that Sketch has the XD doesn't. Come on Adobe I designed your customizeable toolbar throw me a bone here.

    Can't believe this request is more than 4 years old.
    I spent days to make this work but ended up knowing that XD doesn't have this feature and had to use Figma to do this for me.

    Come on, your competitors, Sketch and Figma have this basic feature and you guys already have this in Illustrator. This is so disappointing.

    Yes please, bring this feature into XD to avoid the unnecessary back and forth with Illustrator. I'm only trying to keep the devs happy here (and make my own design process more streamlined).

    Adobe lost all its innovation. Ever since their subscription model their engineers have become complacent. Guaranteed money for amateur software that startups blew past years ago. Adobe is the biggest disappointment. I have been using their software since the 90s. So I know the history first hand. Shameful. 7 figure salaries for this.

    Free tip: copy paste to illustrator. Expand. Copy paste back to XD ;-)

    We need stroke to path expand feature, but I dont think adobe is listening..

    this is seriously annoying, and you guys are making things more complicated. why we users have to play with circle shapes to achieve a stroke outlined, its so complicated to add a gradient. you guys Adobe problaby think why this users really need that right? it just doesn't make any sense for me when other platforms have this feature, since first version. And please don't tell us to do this job in illustrator. this is just absurd.

    OK... I am pretty new to Adobe XD and really wanting to love...
    I have vast experience in other tools and it just happens that I have to use Adobe XD due to company policy.
    This is my fourth time to visit request page for Adobe XD within an hour.

    I mean... no outline function???
    Can't you copy paste from Illustrator???
    or better yet, can't you copy past from Sketch or Figma?
