Mini navigator view - Pan & tap to zoom window in/out
Since the art boards can be very very large having a mini pan and tap to zoom in / out window possibly on the right bottom side to navigate elegantly through the entire art board space would be convenient I believe.
as of now I have to use the little hand and move around on the art boards themselves in combination with the zoom out function.

Thank you for your responding. I speak about a tool like photoshop navigation tool. To navigate all over the screen instantly without using the hand tool to move the artboards. When you have multiple artboards with 5-8K pixel heights it quite difficult to move the screen with the hand tool to the point you want.

It would be perfect tool to nav between artboards like Photoshop do. With the hand tool t'not very easy when you have many artboards.

Rather than start a new feature request I'll add to this one. Easier navigation on large projects is basically what I am voting for. Whether that is an illustrator styled panel or some other UI, the ability to jump around rather than pan/scroll around would be great. I have 18 columns of artboards each with multiple artboards. When I zoom out each artboard is quite small and so hard to work out which board I am looking for - instead of panning around fishing for where the board might be, clicking a panel would be easier.
Another option would be assigning shortcuts to locations so major groups of the artboards could be bookmarked. ie, User Account screens, Administration screens, Cart screens. Once assigned to a shortcut I can then pan quickly around that area. -

I'm disabled so I can only use one hand which the mouse I would like a navigator panel like Illustrator or Photoshop so can move around the artboards

I like the idea but InDesign, IMHO, implemented this feature the best. Press and hold the space bar and after a second the view zooms out and enter birds eye view with the zoom marker colored in red. Regardless, this feature needs to be in XD given how users generate massive layouts with tens to hundreds of screens and organizational art boards.

I use the Navigator all the time when I sketch or wireframe in Illustrator and end up with lots of artboards. I use it to get quickly to an artboard, or to zoom in a spot in a specific screen.
So this seems like a must have addition to XD for me. Thank you.

"Birds Eye View" style hand / pan feature (Like Photoshop's Hold "H")
Absolutely needed for an art board driven design program…

Yeah, like the one in Photoshop. In Photoshop it's only useful for very high resolution images. In XD it would be useful for layouts taking up more than 25% of the canvas.

I agree this is a huge need for myself, as my artboards multiply like rabbits! I use cmd+0 a lot to scan where I need to be, then zoom in to that spot.

In photoshop it is possible to navigate large dimensions quickly by holding "H" and pressing left mouse button. This activates the birds eye view.
It would help a lot to navigate between screens in XD in the same way as Photoshop.
