Multiple sharing links for different subsets of same file
I´m designing for several screens at once and would like to be able to create separate links for the different screens. Eg one for desktop, one for tablet and one for phone. So that I easily can work on all the screens at once and don't have to change files.
You can now choose which link to update in Share Mode, and switch back and forth between links! Just set your home artboard and republish to update the currently selected link.

It could be so easy: Look at Sketch. It's so easy to create different Links of selected pages … IN Adobe XD it's too complicated to publish a link to review and a link for development of the SAME pages …

I hope this solves for post MVP and multivariate testing approaches to all live linked or on the same canvas where WE control what link sees what screens.

BUG: Deleting a link from the cloud via a browser does not remove it from the document. Now if I'm in a doc where I deleted its original link, it still displays in the drop-down list. How Adobe, uhg such cringe.
Not only that but if you make a new doc based on another doc that already had a link, that link will be in that new doc? What

Creating multiple links for multiple flows in the same file would be really cool.
Currently you need to create a new file altogether. Hope this helps!Awesome work by the team!

I agree, updating a prototype is really important. Just being able to update the last prototype is not enough. I have 6 prototypes for different parts of the app and need to update certain parts for the developers.

My use case:
I have a file with multiple flows unrelated to each other. When a feature is completed and ready to send to a developer I need to select a new Home artboard so the team can see the latest flow. But this takes away the link to all the other flows. The workaround works ok for now.

We have similar use cases as well. We generally have multiple flow for usability testing and for business to look around than we finalize one of them. And since this all share same assets and even few screens it 's too much work to create and maintain multiple files for the same. We have used the Axshare for our wireframing and done some very detailed flows off of the same file.

I have an Adobe XD Design for an App. I want to share this design on the one hand with an Android developer and on the other hand with an IOS developer. I therefore create two links (one for Android and one for IOS).
After I have made some changes in the Adobe XD Design, how can I update both shared links without creating a new link.
Currently I only can update the previous shared link? -

Thanks for sharing your use case, Arvid. This is something we have on our backlog.

Allow me to share a set number of artboards to multiple share links.
Use-case:
I have a project with a design for a desktop website and a mobile site in one document.I cannot share a seperate link to the desktop and mobile website without endlessly generating new links. I want one for the mobile website and one for the desktop website, while keeping both in the same file to easily copy elements between artboards and assure consistency.

Currently when publishing "Share for Review" links (which are just the prototypes) it's very handy that we can keep the same link and just update/publish new designs to it.
With publishing "Share for Development" it becomes complex because we can publish different specs for Web, Android, iOS.
I would like to be able to update them all at the same time; and keep the links the same; since in the workflow, I just publish the review version and spec version at the same time (a button to be able to do this, so the combination, would also be handy)
See UI in attachment.

@ Stuart Knightley:
I tried your workaround, but unfortunately it is not possible to manage more than one prototype-link within one XD file. Only the last created link will be updated and there is no solution to update the other links I created from this file.
My workaround for now: I have to split the file in which I wanted to manage both layouts -> Mobile and Desktop. I am not happy with this solution. Adobe XD is meant to unify all Layouts within one file to maintain a better overview.
Please work on this feature!

Ability to Select what links to update. (See video)
This is a small request but a really big project sharing problem xd has. The problem I am having is that my internal Ux team has creative cloud but our external pm's, and engineers don't have adobe creative cloud. Every-time we make a update to our working design docs, or when we need to create a new document with a different version name-for version control(example Project Smart_1.0, 2,0) we need to create a brand new link(url). Therefore, this creates problem for our product mangers, developers and clients because they are constantly getting different types of links through out the design process. I wish there was a way I could update an existing link that in my creative cloud already. The benefit is that everyone that needs to review my prototype or design doc has only one link to go to through out the process. (One Source of Truth)
Example
Designated link for Design System Master Link
Designated Link for PM Reviews
Designated link for UX Team Reviews
Designated link for Interactive Design ReviewThanks

Hey Adobe XD'lers
I Design huge productivity apps and often we hand-over just small parts of our designs as prorotypes.
Now when I share several different prototypes, let's say three, out of the same XD document (by f.e. changing the starting point of the prototype). I can not update any of the previous prototypes, it only allows to override the last prototype or to create a new prototype.
This is sad, since comments and comment history are associated with the prototype and therefore lost.
Is there no way to select which prototype to update?

It would be really useful to be able to select specific screens to add to a prototype (instead of automatically uploading all screens in a document or all screens linked up).
Eg: I work on a full website design in a single document - both mobile and desktop screens. I want to be able to generate two separate links, one for mobile screens and one for desktop screens, so I can have my client look at them separately.
There isn't a way to do this currently without having two documents (which makes returning to amend them difficult, as I haven't got the screens next to each other & some parts are now linked symbols from my master document, but if I replace an artboard all my links disappear!

Would be great to have a way to save all screen and button links from the prototype mode into multiple sets. So would be much easier to avoid a messy prototype mode with too many links. Especially when more people are working in the same file.
Imagine one UX designer is working with the marketing department to present a simple clickable demo for a short video. In other side, working with the same file, a product owner wants to present a very detailed user journey with several alert and error messages to the development team. Would be great to save the linkages in different sets, with the ability to load them as wished, and then click to play the clickable prototype.
Best regards,

It would be great if I could generate multiple prototypes from the same document. Basically, being able to select one group of artboards and create a prototype and also select a different set of artboards to create a different prototype. A little like Exporting Selected Artboards.

Hi Leo,
The title field is automatically filled with name of the XD document, which you can edit or update as your wish.
The reason for providing "Update" option in there is to quickly be able to perform update operation in one click. Update is the most common use case, and hence we wanted to expose it on the top level.
But I see your point of title having the same name even when you choose to create a "New Link". Do you think if we appended "copy" to the title automatically whenever you choose "New Link" option would help?
Thanks!

I could not edit my post, so here is lower line calrification to update:
I recommend to add name selector at Publish Prototype, so when clicked user can view listing of all published prototypes to select one for to update, or to choose new (type in a name) which disables "Update" button as not needed in this case.
Moreover, if the same name is used - should this display a message if "you want to replace existing".

Publish prototype offers "Update" and "New Link" options, while Prototype name-title (on top) reflects a name of the most recent published.
This is good for updating a link of the same design, but is confusing and misleading when new design is to be published. XD seems not replacing earlier design with a new of the same name making a name duplicate. Yet, it is not clear nor comprehensive.
I recommend to add name selector when clicked to view listing of all published prototypes to select for update or selecting new name and disabling "Update" button as this seems not the case.
@XD gurus - could you clarify how this actually works?
