Add your own custom UI Kits
The ability to add your own UI Kits to the start screen
It's great having iOs etc on there but for professionals working on lots of projects (web based) for big brands there is definitely a need to have custom UI Kits for each brand. This will speed up projects massively as well as maintaining consistency across all projects. Thats essential when you are working to strict brand guidelines.
Make it happen Adobe ;)

As so many have said before - being able to install and see the options with one click of a mousewould be sooo much more convenient. Having those folders / files sync with vendor updates would be really useful too.

Agreed! I am a designer for Home Depot with strict Brand standards and this would be perfect to "park" our VDS document for use on the team.

Many excellent ideas and suggestions here, so I'll just add that this would be absolutely brilliant.

yes, assets seems like a great idea. But please add another menu for UI Kits that we could import and use it next to the assets. Sort of like prescribed library in UI Kit, custom assets, both accessible within a project

I was thinking that the "Get UI kits" in the Hamburger Menu could be reworked. Basically XD should store a list of paths to the XD files that we want to bookmark or it should ask for a folder that it can search through so we can open UI kits on the fly.
Having to open UI kits one by one through the file explorer is tedious and incredibly ineffecient.

It works now, but I definitely prefer the old workflow instead of having to download the kit from the website.

“Get UI Kits” is not opening in XD. It now takes me to the respective websites to download the kit(s).

At first we had UI Kits under "File" now theres just a link to the current version. Thats great. But if have downloaded a UI Kit it would be nice to load it in the UI Kit Option to have the file stored in XD with easy access, so that I don't have to search for it on my Mac and open it manually.

Adobe sent us 2 good kits with simple wireframes, it would be nice to add them as "UI Kits" on adobe XD and also have the ability to create and add my own kits to this section as well.

It would be nice if Adobe could provide the complete UI kit for iOS and Android. Current kits are limited.

Save as UI Kit AND store under "User UI Kits" in Start Up menu similar to iOS, Material, Windows, etc

I'm currently creating an entire design system in XD. What I would love to do is save this file as a new template (UI Kit), similar to how Sketch lets you save a file as a Template.
This is in reference to adding a new item to the File > Open UI Kit menu item.

Sketch has so many third party developers contributing to its usability being that it's an open source platform. I'm surprised Adobe hasn't implemented this feature already just to stay competitive with Sketch. Adobe keep an eye on Sketch, follow suit, and you will find more users using XD. You already have a jump with your prototyping tab.

I would definitely appreciate a complete UI kit for Apple, Android, and Material. I mean really cover every element in standard UI kit style. Huge help for designers and UX'ers in a rush to prototype.

This seems like an critical need for any team with a design system. It's the big thing keeping me tethered to Sketch.

1. Version 0.6.12.17 Beta
2. Click on File. Hover over "Open UI Kit". Click on any UI kit.
3. Expected to Open UI kit like it has in the past.
4. Get the message "Error loading document. Invalid document type."
