Fixed elements in scrolling artboards (header, nav bar, etc.)
Since you already started with scrollable area inside artboard, it would be awesome if we could define sticky header. For example, one page website has a lot of content, but I want to create sticky header so when I scroll down, it stays at the top. Maybe you could add the option so we can define the group and assign the sticky header option to it. That way on any artboard we can just assign that option to it and that's it.
Fixed elements are finally here!! We’re incredibly excited to announce that you can select any top-level element in your artboard and click “Fixed Position” to fix your element anywhere in the viewport.

Over 437 comments and a year and a half since this was posted. Come on Adobe. Get this feature added please. This is hugely necessary. It looks terrible that my "footer" scrolls with the content when trying to demo something; my only alternative is to put the footer off the page. Both options are not so good.

Definitely. Would be great if you could just right click on an item (or via the layers palette) and select 'fixed'.

Is Adobe even working on this product?

Definitely crucial for my Android app prototype. The user needs to interact with the system back button at the bottom of the screen at any point as long as scroll. Would love this feature!

this feature can work automatically by putting a constraint based responsive design feature that pins elements to sides of the screens similar to how sketch, figma, framer, xcode does it.
I would also love if this feature worked similar to how xcode does, where header and footer can be a special type of artboard that acts as a master to the screens that needs those fixed elements. and then for other screens we just worry about actual scrollable content.
