Fixed elements in scrolling artboards (header, nav bar, etc.)
Since you already started with scrollable area inside artboard, it would be awesome if we could define sticky header. For example, one page website has a lot of content, but I want to create sticky header so when I scroll down, it stays at the top. Maybe you could add the option so we can define the group and assign the sticky header option to it. That way on any artboard we can just assign that option to it and that's it.
Fixed elements are finally here!! We’re incredibly excited to announce that you can select any top-level element in your artboard and click “Fixed Position” to fix your element anywhere in the viewport.

I am waiting until this feature comes in to even start using this software.. Every update I check if it is there, it is not even an option to work with XD without pinning.. It is such a basic need, like linking a button. If basic functions are not available, then why prototype at all?

Locked objects, still not available. I was in an Adobe workshop focused on function of XD even back in Feb of this year it was a flag as a must have, CMON!

Adobe say they are now working on "scrollable areas within an artboard":

Amazing, on a final release and this most obviously required feature nowhere to be seen. How are we supposed to prototype when we can't even lock objects like header and tab bar? c'MON!

This feature SHOULD be in now, in the new 1.0 release. Not tomorrow, today! Just purchased a subscription and I'm VERY disappointed.

Congrats on making 1.0 release, but please make this happen.
Posting this as a paid customer already and purchase the sub for a full year.

This is literally the one feature that I need to use XD over Sketch and Marvel. Seems like it should be doable.

Please!! It could be amazing! Right now this Tool from my point of view is not a great help because I think the scrollling /fixed header or footer, is the most basic interaction I need to represent interactive user flows/mockups in web and app design. Exciting to listen in a near future this feature was added!

Add this feature. Seriously, why does it take so long? Even sketch has it.
