Drag and drop vector files from desktop into canvas
Similar to photoshop.. I use this all the time and makes getting artwork in projects much easier

As we currently support drag and drop of SVG files from the desktop to XD, please let us know via a new story if you’d like to see other vector formats supported. Thanks!

Not sure if I should submit a separate request, but I use the Noun Project for icons. The mac app allows me to drag and drop the icons onto an artboard, like Illustrator and Sketch and I am able to edit the vector object, like change the color.
I tried doing that in Xd but it just changes the color of the bounding box and not the shape. That means I need to drag it into an Illustrator file first, change the color, then from Illustrator, copy and paste into Xd.
