Sort/Group Artboards in interaction/wire popup's Target Artboard list
It would be great to be able to sort and maybe group artboards. I think it would make it easier to select the target artboard in prototyping mode if you were able to sort them, alphabetically or even group multiple artboards so that you wouldn't need to scroll through a long list of artboards just to find the one you would like to target. It would be really usefully especially when your XD project contains 60 or even 100 artboards. Imagine scrolling through a list of 100 artboards that isn't sorted?

A way to batch rename would be extremely useful as well. The function in Adobe Bridge works well but since it takes a bit for Bridge to start, it would be helpful to be able to use the batch rename feature in Adobe XD.

I waste soo much time trying to find artboards in that popup list. Needs to be sorted by name or based on HOW you manually order the board on the side panel.
That sorting fix should also be included in the shared link GRID view as well.

I would like the following sort options: by name, when created, and last updated.
The default should be when created, since that's what you would expect out of the box. By name will be handy for the reasons others have given. Sorting by last updated will be handy when you want to find your most recent work quickly.
I also like Peter's suggestion to enable some kind of filtering.

I have over 200 artboards.
I´ve been particular carefull naming them. Still, after a while typing
tings like: TargetPage\SubPage2\SubPage\Category\Meny\Home gets difficult. Alphabetical sorting would have fixed this, just by typing «t» and browsing manually all the t´s.Now I have to browse 200+ entrys when I do not manage to type the whole artboard name correctly.
Ouch.

I noticed that as I have 120 artboards, the artboard list dropdown is not in A-Z Order. Making it difficult to find the page that I want to link to.

I totally agree. I wanted to send my designs to a client, but because they are not ordered properly I'm unable to.

It would be great to organize artboards by grouping them in folders. Just like grouping layers in Photoshop or Illustrator.

Kind of related. Adding consecutive numbering in addition to the Name. My naming convention always gets messy ;-). I just had the need when exporting as .png - If they have been stamp with an auto numbering, it would be easier to identify them in a list.

Personally, I LOVE how you can rearrange your artboard in Illustrator (See "Object > Artboards > Rearrange Artboards" in Illustrator). It really neatens up the screen, and it makes use of the artboard 'alpha number' instead of the name when rearranging (that why it allows us to name the artboard whatever we like)... Would love to have a sorting feature like that in Adobe XD please!

The order the artboards are currently listed in is "reading order": it will list artboards in the topmost row left to right, then move on to the next row of artboards below that (starting with the leftmost artboard again), etc.
I agree it would be valuable to have the ability to see them listed alphabetically though -- or maybe even type part of a name to filter the list.

Organize the target list by alpha numeric rather than last one made. It will allow us to quickly find the new and older artboards.

Sorting the list alphabetically should be default.
