Better Anchor Point Manipulation
Anchor Points are a bit tough to manipulate. The manipulation right now is too 'free'.
Points only align to other points within the same vector object and not boundaries, points or edges of other shapes.
There should be object and point snapping as well as holding shift to snap to axis etc.

When moving points, pressing shift to constrain to the X or Y axis doesn't work. Works fine when moving objects.
Without this, it's easy to accidentally make things non-square or non-rectangular.

Totally agreed. The pen tool is so hard to use to draw icons now....annoying

Holding shift to snap-to-axis would be prettttty great. -

Line segment split to average point, and allow point align to point or other subject!!!

Indeed, I'm using the new WIndows Beta at the moment and would love to see the following illustrator / Photoshop features
1. create bézier curves from an existing static point
2. after using alt to move a bézier handle to reset it to align with the other handle for a smooth curve again.
