Hi All! Check out today's update of XD. It is version 47 and includes the ability to make any object a hyperlink. To use hyperlinks:


1. Go to Prototype mode

2. Select an object and add an interaction.

3. Choose a trigger like Tap.

4. Choose the action Hyperlink.

5. Add a destination URL.

    Yes, this would be a helpful feature to have.
    Linking to an external website or an internal document on your computer or local network.

    I have multiple boards created for various features and now want to create a master board which links to various features. I can't do that unless I bring all boards into one, that's painful. Also I doesn't help when two UX working different features but on a single release.

    It would be great if users can set a hyperlink on texts of other objects. Recently Xd is still too simple.

    This was the top of my list for this great program. I designed my first mockup for our site and it would be great if the external links worked instead of having to mockup fake external pages.

    SUPER USEFUL feature!!!! A lot of times, one designer is in charge of a small piece of a larger project that owned by other people. You can't expect everyone owns the entire project.

    WTF I can't believe this feature isn't included already. Just when i think you are catching up to sketch, i find a huge BASIC functionality gap like this. Looks like XD will be collecting more dust unless they pull this together. NO Multiply or layer modes, no external linking, no math in the properties inspector to help resize objects, no slide cursor over point size to increase or decrease easily. Come on guys...youre better than this. These features are ALREADY in other adobe products.

    I agree. I am thinking something similar to the Adobe Muse Hyperlink functionality, where you can type in the URL, mailto:, tel:, and also something that would allow us to define whether it will open in a new tab, or a dialogue box that will connect to another app/webpage.
