Hi All! Check out today's update of XD. It is version 47 and includes the ability to make any object a hyperlink. To use hyperlinks:


1. Go to Prototype mode

2. Select an object and add an interaction.

3. Choose a trigger like Tap.

4. Choose the action Hyperlink.

5. Add a destination URL.

    Please add. "Wouldn't it be nice to..." link to XD's published design spec from within the prototype? I want to build an artboard in the XD prototype to be published that functions as an index to multiple related animation snippets within the prototype (this part is, I believe... easy) and also link to the published Design Spec(s).

    How can this not be a standard feature? Ive spent hours getting up to speed on a piece of software that is useless to me

    I just spent time prototyping my design out in this program to find I can't add video or external links, so now it's basically useless for what I am doing.

    We need this to mesh up Prototypes and functional demos of key features in context.

    Xd is simply unusable as a web app prototyping tool without linking functionality. Nearly every web prototype I've ever built required some external links, to emulate a testable level of functionality. This feature is critically needed. Please get it to the top of the backlog.
