Link to external URLs
Link a button that can link like a hyperlink to another web page like youtube or my own Web Page
Hi All! Check out today's update of XD. It is version 47 and includes the ability to make any object a hyperlink. To use hyperlinks:
1. Go to Prototype mode
2. Select an object and add an interaction.
3. Choose a trigger like Tap.
4. Choose the action Hyperlink.
5. Add a destination URL.

<a href="https://www.shintech.com.my/">Shintech Malaysia</a> started out with an incredible objective of ensuring environmental sustainability through innovative green engineering. Our journey began as a fertilizer manufacturing company, utilizing available wastes and converting them into value-added nutrition for plants.

So if I want to make a paragraph with multiple links, I'm going to have to chop up EVERY paragraph on my entire website??
Wow, what a flaw this is... I really don't like to complain, but there are far too many issues with adobe xd to invest my time in trying to find insane workarounds for.

I was super excited to see this hyperlink feature added to Adobe XD, so thank you for that!
However, it doesn't carryover when I export as a PDF....now super disappointed :(

Dear Adobe,
This is clearly an issue for many users. If you please add this generous feature to XD, My friends and I have agreed to chip in on Starbucks Coffee gift cards for your entire team, as we know how back-breaking and strenuous it will be to create this desired feature for your loyal customers. We want to make sure your team will have the proper energy after all the sleepless nights that you will all endure while creating this for all of us begging for this to happen for the last several years. :) to incentivize you even more, I will even make a TikTok video of me screaming "I LOVE ADOBE XD!!!" at the top of my lungs in front of at least 1,000 people.
Thank you so much for the bottom of all our "loyal adobe user" Hearts ❤️!
Best,
- Everyone who uses Adobe XD

For the record, as with nearly every feature I have requested or voted on in this forum, you can already do this in Figma.

Since we’re working with xd as a web designers, this feature must be inserted into the app. It should be a basic thing in xs.

Would really love to see this feature implemented. Not only to link to any URL, but to link to other XD Web Preview links I have created too. Basically, so a user could seamlessly go between multiple XD web preview links all through basic URL navigation links.
As there is a maximum limit to the amount of artboards you can have in a single file, I quite often on large projects have to split out my XD wires into separate files. If I was able to link to another XD web preview flow from another file that would solve that.

To piggy-back on Carollei's comment below, Anima does not allow for the full functionality of XD's accessible features and as the world becomes more conscious and focused on inclusive design, this should be a priority. Additionally, Anima is a third party company, not vetted by larger organizations that have adobe enterprise licenses. This poses an increased security risk. I really feel like 4.5 years since feature request is too long. And having this feature will enable users to utilize XD for more than just prototyping... they could start using for deck creation.

Anima isn't the best option for a workaround for those of us who are investigating XD's potential as a presentation app or to develop standalone interactive publications. Embedding external hyperlinks is a function in InDesign, but it is ridiculously tedious and slow to make and manage multiple interactive objects and their states. Please add this simple function or provide a more usable plugin that doesn't require a premium subscription to make it useful.

There should be an option to link to artboard OR external URL (like Axure)

This idea was originally shared in 2016 😂😂 Gotta love the speed at which XD pumps out updates
