Generate specs / measurements / style guide for developers
What definitely needed in the Design community is to ease the design-development delivery-review phase. To unload both of the sides.
A lot of different platforms, tools, plugins were meant to do that and none of them is fully unloading and simplifying that process.
PNG Express, Specking, Avocode, Markly, Zeplin, Craft, Marketch etc...
I believe there is a need in having some specifications delivery service, styleguide generating service.
Specs:
+ Measuring distance from text line height (because that's how developers do), not font size.
+ Ability to adjust the UI on the go with automatic sepcs changing
+ Ability to select and automatically calculate the parameter type (dp, px, pt, em, sp) with defining default
etc.
Styleguide:
+ Automatically generated colour palette. And when you change the colour in palette it changes everywhere in the UI.
+ Font styles
+ Generating assets
+ Generating SVGs
etc
We’re pleased to announce that our Design Specs feature is now available as a Beta in our November release. You can read more about it on our announcement blog post here: https://blogs.adobe.com/creativecloud/november-update-of-adobe-xd/
The Design Specs feature is just the first step for us in this space, and we’re looking for your feedback on the feature. In order to focus on the feedback, we’ve created a new feature area that you can target when you file new ideas: 09 Design Specs. Please remember that you should file one idea per submission, so that we can better aggregate your feedback.

Affinity Designer /psd export?

YES! Style Guide export (including style tiles, typography, and "red pen" annotations) would be HUGE to have in XD.
Considering how new XD is, I'm already able to jump in, use it, and sketch ideas quickly WITH clients and users too. Keep up the great work!

Yup. Another voter for adding Zeplin like features.

Sketch to Zeplin just got featured in Net Magazine March Issue. Need similar functionality or an export to Zeplin ASAP to compete with sketch. Thanks guys for the work so far.

I agree 150%! Or something like the Measure plugin for Sketch. If you allow 3rd party plugins then people will do that for you.

Zeplin is the key feature to jump out from AI to Sketch. Now a lot of company use this in their pipeline. It would be grate if you create this feature in Adobe product line or like a feature of XD. I mean export artboards to some Adobe websrvice and share to developers, where they can export assets and get measurement

When i used Experience Design for the first time, I loved it. It's easy to use features, simple tools etc. makes it the best software ever. Somehow, this one thing is absolutely missing (ofcourse there are some bugs too). It is the 'saving/exporting' as HTML file feature. Say for example, if I were to create a responsive website, I designed the mobile, tablet and web layouts, but what after that? How am I able to use the XD files on the actual website? There should be some way to export and use them please. This should be your top priority because with this feature, you will have a lot more designers using this tool.

Great idea! As I usually end up spending a week of the project creating brand / user guidelines.

Yes I agree. All my clients (developers, integrators) does not subscribe to CC. It use many Photoshop CS6. They ask me the .psd file of my job to be able to export and edit each element. So yes, I want an export .psd (which will be a benefit to sketch app)

Give support to open Adobe XD files via Adobe Extract.
(No convert to .psd required) -

As a PSD on asset front dev would like to access to all css of bloc or text, or distance inbetween elements

Can we have some kind of function where we are able to explort the XD file so a web developer can easily obtain or decipher CSS styles.
This is imperative for my workflow as some of the devs i work with work off-site and im needing XD to be the one-stop shop.
A developer should be able to view the shared XD link and then build the site without any guidance from me(the designer) in an ideal world.

Making it work on Adobe Extract would be great - Zeplin integration would be great as well. This is a game changer feature - I could be using XD right now if it wasn't for this.

A lot of developers (and designers) still work with CS6 (or even older). Would be great if there was an option for developers to view the design in something other than XD (psd, pdf etc). So that the developer can see the exact measurements of my webdesign/layout. Now I have to beg them to use Adobe CC and not all people have the funds to buy CC already. Wish they did, but hey what can I do.

Well, some of this ideas are a bit too much? I'm using this as an extension of illustrator, and Photoshop but it might be nice to have some of the features you suggest!

Red lines connect developers and UX/UI Designers, right now I rely on third party plugins for this but, being able to export those directly from the app would save so much headache.

Yeah I think the exporting features could be a great thing added to this - something a little like the way Zeplin works or even just the Adobe extract in Creative cloud being able to accept and analyse these files

Zeplin is extremely important to my workflow.

So far, I love all the features Adobe UX preview has. But until it is compatible with Zeplin (or a similar feature is added to XD), I won't be able to make the switch from Sketch. I need to be able to give my dev team more information about the design than just what it look like. Its much easier for them to have exact dimensions, colors, font-sizes, etc. Maybe partner with Zeplin?
