Blend Modes

It would be awesome to have blending modes in the sidebar.

I’m glad to announce that Blend Modes are available with the October release. Check it out and let us know how it works.

The biggest shortcoming of Xd. I have to think at this point that it is an attempt to force people to continue using photoshop which is not a free program. What’s going on here?

I was willing to give XD a chance... lol fired it up - it doesnt even have the basic feature that is blend modes.

I was about to say how good XD was and then I realised it doesn't have blend modes lol. So basic....

Kind of forcing you to still use Photoshop or Illustrator and completely slows down your workflow, wasn't XD meant for UI designers so they could move away from both of those?

Or why not just move over to Figma or Sketch instead....

Would love to see this feature in there. Just rebuilding a UI assembled in Illustrator and realised there is no work around.

This is a big deal, especially when opening psd files, a lot of the elements look bad because it's not using the appropriate blend mode
