copy paste styles
Ability to copy an object's style and paste it to others
This feature is now available with the Paste Appearance command, which we’re introducing today in our August release! Learn more about it here: https://blogs.adobe.com/creativecloud/august-update-of-adobe-xd/
If you don’t see an update, launch the Creative Cloud desktop application, select the gear icon, and click “Check for App Updates.”

everyone vote here for the feature we all really want... How things like 'make text a bullet point list' is getting thousands of votes when that is so easy to do manually, yet this has barely any is beyond me.

totally agree, this is not completed.

Can you copy just the shadow for example? This is copying colour, borer, and shadow... pasting the entire appearance. I just want to copy and paste the shadow if possible?

How come this feature has been requested so many years and ends up like this? This is not completed - when pasting an image's styles into an image, the picture itself is overridden.

This is not completed! We mean just to copy the Style like shadow, not the image itself.

No its not completed! Copy color or character styles and pasting it to several other elements is not included. Which is so crucial and missing in XD.

When I copy the appearance of an Image and paste it onto another image, it also replaces the image. This makes the feature useless for me.

Hi! When I try to use the "Paste Appearance" option on Windows 10, for example to copy a button from the material design sticker sheet, it transfers only the color of the button, not all the details (for example shadows and rounded corners), as it does on the Mac. It's so sad that AdobeXD doesn't have all the characteristics that it should have on Windows.

The ability to use type tool to edit text.
One specific example: use type tool to copy the styling of another text block to a selected one instantly (color, size, typeface) (like Illustrator or InDesign).
Saves time and simplifies everything. -

Illustrator makes it super simple to copy a elements style by clicking the "i" short cut and selecting your element then the style that the user wants.
so, your story is thus: As a user, i want to be able to use a short cut command to copy styles from one object to another (or something like that)

I'd say Keynote does this almost perfectly:
1. cmd+alt+c to copy style
2. cmd+alt+v to paste
3. objects copy styling but not sizeThe keyboard shortcuts are so so important for this. 10+years and still no shortcuts in PS.
bonus: text can be pasted and matched to style (cmd+alt+shift+v)
