Client and supplier logos/graphics are very often supplied as EPS. Would be great not to have our design team convert all of these to another format just to be able to place them in XD.

I figure if After Effects, Premiere, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Animate can support EPS, so should XD.

I'm totally surprised that Adobe doesn't provide EPS file support for XD. That's a huge downside. Not to mention that Adobe XD doesn't support copy-paste from other Adobe software such as Photoshop.

It would be useful if we could open EPS files.

When you design things like websites, in most cases you will have add social icons. (see the attachment)

Let's say you need the logos of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterst and YouTube for your project.
Let's say you go to their official websites to download the logos.

Let's say you downloaded the logos.
Let's say you need these logos as vectors.
Once you unpack the packages, you will see that they have offered the logos in the EPS format.
I can't open EPS files in XD. I can't import EPS files in XD.
I can't use the logos I need in Adobe XD.

Import is more important

I don't see why this wasn't supported from the start. Unfortunately, not every resource out there delivers files in SVG format. Sometimes it's EPS and I don't like jumping through hoops just to edit the file. Please prioritize this. It's been over 2.5 years!

Yeah, It will make the tool more user-friendly please make adobe xd .eps file compatible. too much trouble now

Why cant you make our life easier by allowing us to drag and drop .eps files to Adobe XD projects?

It would be great to simply drag and drop an EPS file from finder in to XD just like you can in Sketch.

Yes, definitely we need to open EPS files in XD same way as in Illustrator. I totally agree with a comment below that is tedious to open and export from Illustrator to import into XD all the time.
