Client and supplier logos/graphics are very often supplied as EPS. Would be great not to have our design team convert all of these to another format just to be able to place them in XD.
I figure if After Effects, Premiere, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Animate can support EPS, so should XD.

At the point when you are planning something extremely graphical, something like an arcade game, architects who are not really into workmanship heading and visual depiction will generally exceptionally depend on stock illustrations symbolism sites like Shutterstock and Freepik to download designs, layouts and so forth 90% of those designs all come in EPS. Presently what we need to do is, put it in Illustrator or Corel, resize it, trade at SVG or save as AI and afterward import that to XD, which is tremendous issue. Contenders like Sketch been able to help EPS, henceforth its fundamental here too. https://www.kneepillow.com.au/

When you are designing something very graphical, something like an arcade game, designers who are not so into art direction and graphic design tend to highly rely on stock graphics imagery websites like Shutterstock and Freepik to download graphics, templates etc. 90% of those graphics all come in EPS. Now what we have to do is, put it in Illustrator or Corel, resize it, export at SVG or save as AI and then import that to XD, which is huge hassle. Competitors like Sketch had the ability to support EPS, hence its essential here as well.

I'm totally surprised that Adobe doesn't provide EPS file support for XD. That's a huge downside. Not to mention that Adobe XD doesn't support copy-paste from other Adobe software such as Photoshop.

Hello.
It would be useful if we could open EPS files.
When you design things like websites, in most cases you will have add social icons. (see the attachment)
Let's say you need the logos of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterst and YouTube for your project.
Let's say you go to their official websites to download the logos.
https://en.facebookbrand.com/facebookapp/assets/f-logo/
https://about.twitter.com/en_us/company/brand-resources.html
https://en.instagram-brand.com/
https://business.pinterest.com/en/pinterest-brand-guidelines
https://www.youtube.com/about/brand-resources/#logos-icons-colorsLet's say you downloaded the logos.
Let's say you need these logos as vectors.
Once you unpack the packages, you will see that they have offered the logos in the EPS format.
I can't open EPS files in XD. I can't import EPS files in XD.
I can't use the logos I need in Adobe XD. -

I don't see why this wasn't supported from the start. Unfortunately, not every resource out there delivers files in SVG format. Sometimes it's EPS and I don't like jumping through hoops just to edit the file. Please prioritize this. It's been over 2.5 years!

Why cant you make our life easier by allowing us to drag and drop .eps files to Adobe XD projects?
-
Matt commented
It would be great to simply drag and drop an EPS file from finder in to XD just like you can in Sketch.

Yes, definitely we need to open EPS files in XD same way as in Illustrator. I totally agree with a comment below that is tedious to open and export from Illustrator to import into XD all the time.
So please in the future, try to resolve this matter and help us to use your application more easy.
Thank you
